    Rubbish

Hagi da was one of the best footballers of the 90s.

Doesnt matter where your from, can still be a quality player....did you think AC Milan looked at George Weah and went * he must be *, cant be a quality player from there.

Tells me more about your views of Romanians in Dublin than anything football related

I wouldn't necessarily proscribe to that thought. At Celtic you get the chance to win trophies, play European football, packed 60k stadium every week, one of the most intense derby rivalries about, they can also see players earn their big money moves from here. Sure the domestic league is a bit of a backwater but who dreams of playing for a midtable Ligue 1 club or an EPL club in a relegation battle etc. The main driver will be money, all things being equal then I think Celtic is a bigger draw than most Ligue clubs outside those in the CL bur will we offer the same financial reward to them.

Kvistgarden recently turned down Lens for Norwich for example.

In terms of leagues Kvistgaarden wouldnt have viewed coming to Scotland as a step up. Not saying the championship is either but he probably saw it as a step closer to EPL. But then maybe he just moved there cos he had some Danish pals at Norwich lol

I'd have imagined he'd have came to Celtic over Norwich if we met the same financial terms and agreed a fee with Brondby.

Our unwillingness to pay the going rates if why we miss out on lots of players. Apparently we operate a player trading model but we show no bit of ambition or aggression in doing so.

I’d like you know why we had our heart set on Kvistgaarden but when the chance to get him at a reduced rate we never followed up

When we are putting together lists and then scouting players and spending time on them does nobody ever think about what the potential transfer fee would be?

I mean now/recent times, maybe should have clarified, my bad, I also meant to type Reading (* know why Intyped romanian) some striker who ended up there. his Da was one of my fav players ever, a genius. Popescu, Lacatus, Demitrescu, actually could go on, I know how good players were in Romania, but now theres nowt. And Ill stick to my gun on his value.

Irked Louis Munteanu has tackled speculation over his Cluj future amid reports in Romania about an offer from Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers has admitted he is keen to add more firepower to his side this summer - and sources in Romania claim that the Hoops have seen an offer of just under £6.9million booted out by the Transylvania based club.

Following the murmurs around the Scottish Premiership champions, owner Nelutu Varga declared that an unnamed club from France had an £15.5m offer accepted.

He told Pro Sport: "I won't say the club, because that's how we agreed. They are professionals and they want to present him, as is normal. I think the transfer will be resolved in a few days."

However, the 21-year-old now insists he is "bored" about the speculation on his future - which only intensified after he missed the league clash with Rapid Bucharest on Sunday.

Speaking post-match, he said: "I'm a little behind with my preparation, but with training I hope to catch up. It's not very pleasant on the bench, but that's it, I'll do my job.

If the thought of a transfer flew into my head, I would no longer be here. The thought is not in my head."

Pushed on the comments from his chairman, he went on: "I want to tell you honestly, I'm bored of so many numbers being discussed. I'm here at Cluj."

Cluj boss Dan Petrescu also appeared to question if an offer was on the table, admitting he expected the frontman to be involved in the Europa League qualification clash with Lugano on Thursday.

He said: "I spoke to the player, the boy's behaviour is beyond my expectations, I tell you honestly.

"He's very serious, he wants to play, he doesn't think he's going to get injured. I was afraid to put him in, if he really has an offer, but he wants to play.

I want Louis Munteanu to stay, but if he has a very good offer, I wish him luck."
