He really should be the strong, athletic, powerful box to box midfielder we've been crying out for but he's just not there yet.

After getting brushed off the ball by John Mcginns massive * at villa park he should have been straight into the gym and bulking up.

He's good on the ball but he needs to be stronger on it to keep it

 

Brendan can stand and watch 90 mins of dreadful football and say it was magic, most fans watching will say is was painful viewing so no.

 

Fair point but imo he might say that so's not to throw his team under the bus. I still say he wouldn't just write a player off until he's sure they're not going to make it here. He must see something. I would give the lad another season and if he hasn't improved he's not going to make it here.

I know mate 25 minutes in total heat just back makes a couple of mistakes and hes a dud, Tierney done Awrite but some of his passes were dreadful, nothing really said about it,as stew pointed out had that been Ralston or scales would have been getting slated

 

Thought Dane Murray looked more assured, played some nice passes forward.

 

2nd goal was a belter of a counter from Kenny and McCowan. Great result.
