Need to look to play what we think is our first team for an hour and then make changes, otherwise this could get embarrassing. There is already no Johnston or CCV and we are down to the barebones up top.

Probably won't see two different x11s in this one?

We definitely will, we're still in the fitness building stage for the team. The results really don't matter.

Aye, was thinking we may want to start realistic game planning, as I thought we only had 3 pre-season games left... but forgetting we have another match in Como we just don't know who as of yet..

However, there are some of the B squad who should be nowhere a game for the 1st team.. so it makes changing our whole 11 a bit pointless.. and illustrated the lack of depth we have.

Working during this so will miss it but would've really liked to have seen how we fared against better opposition.

Need to start stepping it up now in these higher profile friendlies.

I totally agree with you, I've watched our games so far and it pains me to say I really haven't been impressed with a single youngster. Inamura for me stepped in and after 1 game looked at a better level than any of them despite his experience being the main criticism against him. With everyone fit, we can field a good starting XI. After that though as you say our bench and overall squad depth is horrendous. We are extremely light in the wide areas, especially until Jota returns. Idah for me is never a first choice striking option and with the squad where it is we need Maeda on the left. So massive reinforcements needed in the forward area. Been crying out for a CDM for ages now and yet again if Calmac is out it leaves a void in there. Scales/Trusty not ideal at LCB and CCV again with fitness issues. Just as well our CL qualifier isnt until next month if it was within the next fortnight I'd be absolutely dreading it. Saying that, I'm not sure how many we'll bring in before it.

Likely in for a spanking on Wednesday and the weekend - our overall squad quality is brutal at the moment if we don’t have all regular first team players fit.

Apart from anything else, we simply cannot keep clean sheets(barring the odd exception) against non-Scottish opposition, whether it be a friendly or competitive game. I'll be amazed if we concede less than 3 goals with the players available.

It'd be funny if both teams wore their green and white hoops. *Laughs uncontrollably and falls to the floor.*

What I will say is that we generally tend to show up well against the better sides in pre-season these days. Might be missing a few from memory but the only real embarrassment I can remember in pre-season was that ridiculous West Ham game at Celtic Park. 6-2 or something like that.

We'll probably be better than some think tomorrow night. Would still be surprised if we won and obviously the main thing is to get more minutes into the senior players' legs.

Would be nice to get the result though. Can't see it being a good game for a clean sheet right enough!
