Yang being a 10 million quid player is about as likely as Kris Boyd winning the London Marathon…

For a bit part player, to get 12 goal involvements in 1314 minutes for season just finished. After his first season being one where he finished with 4 goal involvements in 1248 minutes is typical of a young foreign player settling into a new environment that we see all to often in the wider game.

It ain't me, but a good salesman so to speak could mean we get a surprisingly good fee as we can show clear improvement in his level of performance and in this generation of the game with moneyball being peak scouting/recruitment strategy I could see it being a tidy £6mill-£8mill

 

Yang is a pit part player at Celtic and still posted goal involvement numbers nigh equal to Orjasaeter.

Albeit Jansson did have a strong season at Rapid. All around the same ages, with Jansson and Orjasaeter both playing for more minutes than Yang.

I think I seen reports suggesting Jansson went for €7mill in the end. Something I would be happy to have taken a chance on.

I dont think Yang, at 23, playing less than 2000 minutes and still getting 12 goal involvements at around £6mill-£8mill is that outrageous given hes also under contract until 2028.

Personally I'd say whoever brokers the deal at £6mill should get a statue and a lifetime season ticket giving all access to everything Celtic

All joking aside anything above money back for Yang would be good business, with him Palma and Tilio away we can bring in a quality right winger and a promising left winger above the level mentioned.

We signed him for around £2m and he’s (hopefully) getting punted because he’s not good enough. Not a chance we make three times what we spent.
