In all seriousness Norwich will have some cash as they just sold Sainz for 8 figures and Sargent is about to go to Burnley for decent cash. So they have some money to spend, we need to try our best to rinse them.

 

While I'm not adverse to him leaving, we are already painfully short in the wide areas at the moment. Forrest can't play 90, Kuhn is gone. Nygren isn’t a winger despite him being touted as Kuhn's replacement. Tilio looks garbage, Jota out for the foreseeable. I'd rather sign a couple of options before punting him.

 

Look on the flip side would you be happy to keep him here and give him regular game time as he is meant to be wanting that and apparently asked to be allowed to leave either or loan on permanently to get it.

You have to remember he has got on the fringes of the South Korean national team and they are all about listening to their elders. He will have managers and coaching staff over there telling him he needs to play and the Scottish league is rotten. Even though he’s rotten in it.

 

Preferably, he wouldn't be first choice here. As I said, happy to move him on, but not at the expense of the team. With our current wide options, he's near the top of the pecking order. At worst he'd be a guaranteed 1 of our 5 substitutes. So its important he's replaced and I'd rather have someone in the door first than run the risk of being short.

 

I think Balikwisha will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

That would be a good start, but we definitely need more options and Palma and Tilio to be following Yang out the door. With Forrest's injury record and advancing years he cant be seen as a reliable option either. Quality of our squad depth just now doesn't make for good reading.

 

I'd let him go for £10m as long as they took Idah as well

 

Like someone said if they can value idah at 9m then we can value Yang at 10
