Make our bid to the value we consider and if they don't accept move on.. they can value him what they like but he's currently not a 10 mill player in any clip I've seen

See if they are wanting £10 million for him, I'd just go back and bid that for Orjasater tbh.

I do like the look of this boy, and he has better stats, but if we're paying a big fee for a LW I'd prefer it be on Orjasaeter.

 

I think £10m is too much(not sure if it's euros) but I've not watched him consistently and whilst I do enjoy watching other leagues, most notably the Superliga from Denmark and the Eliteserian from Norway, I don't tend to watch any from the Austrian Bundesliga. I watched a lot of Nygren, for example, and would have gladly paid for £6m/£7m for him.

We paid £3m for Kuhn who had slightly worse numbers but was on a complete other level for chance creation statistically. Not seen any of the analytics guys covering him but I would be surprised if it was even close. I know Rapid signed him because he had insane dribbling statistics but so does the boy from Anderlecht, Nilson Angulo. So wondering if we are looking for a player who can have a similar sort of style, mad dribbling skills and hope Rodgers and the coaches can work on his final ball/finishing/decision making. Difference between Jansson and Angulo seems to be about £8m the now. Angulo was only valued at around £2m by Anderlecht.

 

I reckon we have him and Ambrosino announced in the next week, and then sign 1 more winger later in the window for a big fee once we’ve shipped off Palma, Tilio and the likes.

 

We've apparently made a bid between 2-3 mill. But some French side have offered 4 mill for him. The 10 million valuation is pish apparently

 

Celtic have stepped up their pursuit of Rapid Wien winger Isak Jansson, submitting a bid believed to be in the region of between €2-3 million, CeltsAreHere.com can exclusively reveal.
The Hoops have identified the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for Nicolas Kuhn, who is currently en route to Como to finalise a €19 million move to the Italian outfit. Jansson has emerged as a firm target, with the club moving to secure a deal swiftly.



However, Celtic are not alone in the race. A Ligue 1 club, whose identity remains undisclosed at this stage, has lodged a higher offer reportedly in excess of €4 million, putting the French side in pole position for the young attacker.

There were claims earlier on Monday that it would take north of €10 million to pry Jansson from his current club. But sources close to the situation have poured cold water on those suggestions, telling CeltsAreHere that such a valuation would be “super ridiculous” for a player of his profile.




Jansson, known for his pace and direct style, has drawn attention from multiple European sides in recent months. While his talent is clear, our sources have also flagged one key concern: “He can be injured often,” we were told, a factor which will surely be weighed heavily in the Parkhead boardroom as negotiations continue.

Celtic’s initial offer may fall short, but the level of interest suggests this could move quickly. Whether the club will be keen to match a bid from elsewhere remains to be seen.

With Brendan Rodgers looking to reshape his attacking options ahead of a crucial campaign, Celtic fans will be hopeful that we have enough firepower in the door for the Champions League play-off next month

 

Aye agreed, I think this one's a goer. I'm all for it so long as we bring another right-sider in. I like the look of Jansson, versatile, direct, pacy, on an upward trajectory career-wise.
