    I thought the club had already sorted out the finer details with Nygren and his agents, and we were just waiting to agree on a fee with the club?

    Christ knows. That feels like an update…without actually being one.

    Celtic have agreed a fee of £1.7m to sign Nordsjaelland attacker Benjamin Nygren.

    Sky Sports News revealed last week that the Sweden international had verbally agreed terms with the Hoops and that talks between the clubs were progressing well.

    Celtic have now reached an agreement on a fee with the Danish club and will look to finalise the move with Nygren.

    The 23-year-old is left-footed and can play as a winger or attacking midfielder.

    Excited about this one - especially at the apparent price, with those stats; finally another left-footer too. Getting a seemingly very good attacking option while leaving plenty money over for positions of need could be a brilliant move.

    I think this is an absolute steal.

    16 goals an 4 assists last season, and he looks dynamite in any video I've seen of him.

    If he was on a longer contract, I think they'd be demanding around £8 million for him, maybe more.

    Getting him, Tierney, Osmund, Doohan and possibly Inamura tied up already is an excellent start, even if the latter two aren't as exciting.
