Would prefer he stayed personally but if he actually wants to go and we can get a decent fee then fair enough.

 

Same here I really want him to stay, I hope we offer the maximum wages his ability deserves. But if he wants to go we must not be ripped off and get the most money for him as possible.

 

I think he wants to go so we should let him. Unsettled players don't produce anywhere near their best.

 

I think it's difficult to tell if he wants to go. People have often gone on about his demeanor etc but might be just the way he is, seems quite a reserved character. He wasn't at his best towards the end but it's difficult to keep up the kind of levels he'd shown previously.

 

Regardless of what people think of Kuhn we should be getting 20 mill minimum.

 

I honestly don't think he's worth the kind of money people are putting about. £10-15m for me. Few things hold him back, pace being the obvious one, but also attitude, consistency, and a bit one dimensional. You know, he cuts in and smashes it like 90% of the time, not many other arrows in his quiver. It sounds like I don't rate him, I do, but just not more than £10-15m.

 

We will be lucky to get 15 , 20 with add ons. Guy has a * mindset and he will continue with that wherever he goes

 

Surprised you said pace. Think he's actually pretty quick. I agree about the other stuff though. Rarely mixes it up and goes on the outside and when he's not interested he is pretty honking.

He's rapid. I found it odd that someone said pace held him back.....it's one of his best attributes

 

I think he's a superb player who has the raw talent, the tools (and electric pace - when he turns it on) to be huge but yes, the mentality often seems not right.

I just can't make my mind up if it's an inherent lack of confidence that just needs more work - he seems very introverted, almost insular.
Alternatively is it arrogance, laziness - only interested in big games.

I'm optimistic more work on the coaching side can make him more consistent - but he has to really want it himself.
It's frustrating, because this lad really has the lot.

 

Rapid yet never really takes his man on down the wing. They know his one move, cut inside. Hence hes been stopped now. He needs to switch it up.

 

Regardless what he goes for it’s going to be a * if a lot more than what we paid for him.

Hopefully we use the money to bring in what we need.

Agree with the logic but think they'll be lucky to get 10. Similar bracket to Juranovic, but less, for me.

Still should be looking for 20 - 25 for Kuhn. His pace gives him an edge that costs and he showed up in the CL.

 

Sorry I meant to say pace is obviously not one of the things holding him back. It's his attitude and being a bit of a one-trick pony. You look at Forrest, he can cut in and score, but he can also drive down the outside and put in a decent cross. He keeps the left-back guessing. Khun could use a few more strings to his bow.

 

Yeah, if he wants to go, we should sell him but there needs to be a good fee in place. I think £15m is too low. We need to be getting much closer to the £20m mark. I think that would be a realistic sale point.

He's definitely not irreplaceable. His raw pace is a huge asset to have though. Will be a huge miss.
