It's probably pie in the sky stuff, but Evan Ferguson has struggled to get minutes in a dire West Ham side mostly due to Potter being a bit strange with his team selection.

I think he has everything needed to be a top class striker - would love for us to try with a £10m bid or loan to buy of some sort

 

Think would need to be loan to make sure he can perform consistently

 

If he discovers his form on loan he’s out of reach

 

Agreed but also risk with the transfer fee they'd be after for him and him not performing lately

 

I'd * love Evan, get him on loan and offer a fee if he hits certain targets, goals etc.

We were linked with Shea Charles last summer, who was at Southampton. He went away on loan to Sheffield Wednesday and had a really good season in midfield for them this season. I suspect Southampton are going to want him back to have in their squad as they plot a way to get back into the Premier League but if there was a chance we could make something work with them, I'd definitely be looking at that again.

 

Can't imagine we'll look a tempting option given Lagerbielke's experience.

For defensive/ box to box centre midfield Silas Andersen at Hacken would be a good shout, he is only 20 but his stats for this seasons Allsvenskan so far are very impressive particularly his duel winning both aerially (he’s about 6’3) and on the ground, his progressive forward passing and his dribbling success rate/ ball carrying.

Edit: he has also played CB when required given his size and scored the winning penalty in a shoot out for Hacken against Malmo in the Swedish cup today.

It could time for a big handsome Dane to be in our midfield again!

 

Living in sunny Sussex, I’ve had the pleasure of watching Ewan’s career develop at close hand.

Initially his build up play was quite poor, but his composure and accuracy in front of goal was outstanding.

It seemed the focus on his development shifted to improve his link up play, and although this did get better, it also coincided with BHA’s form under RDZ falling off a cliff and his eventual departure.

Under FH, and with a number of new expensive signings, BHA have been even more inconsistent, and Ewan (like MOR) wasn’t really allowed a run to establish himself.

I’m convinced Ewan has the necessary talent, to succeed at the top table. But, equally he needs a proper run of games at a club that creates good goal scoring opportunities at a regular basis to build his confidence.

Celtic and Ewan could well be the perfect match for each other

 

Stade Reims are relegated to Ligue 2 this evening, we should try get Keito Nakamura for left wing, the guy has still been brilliant despite his team being poor.

In a similar vein Saint Ettiene have been relegated already and have a Georgian Winger who has been putting up good numbers in Ligue 1 and 2 for 3 straight seasons now called Zuriko Davitashvili

Another winger option who is only 20 but has shown real promise is Papa Amadou Diallo. He plays for Metz and has good goal and assists numbers in Ligue 2 this year. He will now be promoted to Ligue 1 but he only has a year left on his deal. He is also a full Senegal international.

 

Papa Diallo is an incredible shout, he’s one I’ve stumbled across looking for a player I hope we are looking at, watched highlights but never seen him play 90 minutes but I am 100% with you about wanting him.

Rennes? * look at all of them, Jota and Kyogo were surplus to them, they must be excellent * season or not


All seriousness Rennes tend to be able to demand a fee for their players, Metz not so much. Papa Diallo at 20, his stats, physical attributes and ability, most teams he would cost a bomb. He wouldn’t at them. That could be a steal

 

Reims relegated? I had no idea. Keito Nakamura should absolutely be our target, indeed.

 

Yeah they lost in the relegation playoff last night to Metz. Their centre back Okumu is a good player too.
