Hindsight is 20/20 but he shouldn't have started. Looks (even more) deconditioned, shall we say, following his time out with the injury.

 

He was really poor for the penalty shootout aswell tbh didn't even get near one.

That being said, he's been a class act this season and best keeper in the league.

 

I that’s right he was a fat * mess the whole game and sinsalo who gave a good account of himself should never have been dropped for the game take it in and * drink get over yourself t move on amd accept it

Mate the penalties Aberdeen took were all class to be fair.

It was a clanger today but Kasper has been huge for us this season and has made some big saves. Some of which contributed to the league and to our European run.
He will bounce back from today.

 

Aberdeen penalties were first class.

Schmichael has been huge for us but think he's not the leader or influence Hart was.

 

Yeah I just meant by being nowhere near them in that he was constantly going to his left as Aberdeen kept pinging them to his right. No denying Aberdeen took their penalties well so he might not have saved them anyway but just thought he could have spotted the pattern there.

Aye I've no written him off or anything, been fantastic this season. Just a bit gutted he dropped a clanger today.

 

No chance Schemeichel is coming back from this disaster. He's been regressing visibly for the last six months, don't forget also the nine goals conceded to Rangers in only three games, I still think that is an unwelcome and disastrous record for any Celtic goalkeeper, I can't think of any other Celtic goalkeeper conceding nine goals in three games against the Huns. And then there was the mental aberration in the Parkhead game against the Huns, when he inexplicably passed the ball straight to a Ranger's player.

He's lost his nerve.

Sinisalo will be the No.1 goalkeeper next year, and we will be in the market for a new No.2 goalkeeper.

 

Disappointed for him today. Didn’t deserve to finish the season like that but the error for the goal is inexcusable and unacceptable.

 

Some of the * on here honestly. He’s saved us on numerous times this season. He made a * out of that today and I think he’s getting worse with the ball at his feet but * *.
Not his fault our intensity through the game was pish, not his fault Maeda couldn’t finish a one on one, not his fault we had shots hit the post and crossbar.
I like Sinisalo but no doubt when he makes an error everyone will be on his back wanting him out etc.
Still our no1 and deservedly so.

 

Was no need to rush him back when big sinisalo has been solid as a rock. Had a bad feeling about it tbh. Big sinisalo can feel aggrieved.

 

It was the perfect opportunity to play sinasalo for the rest of the season, pretty gutless to put kasper back in

 

It can’t be denied he’s definitely not been quite as convincing the second half of the season. Yesterday was his first real howler, but there’s a been a few goals he could have done better, and his distribution is nowhere near as good as it was 7/8 months ago.

I didn’t understand why Sinisalo was dropped in the first place. He came in and did well. Should have kept his place until he gave a reason to be dropped. Same goes for Nawrocki.

 

Said it when Kasper first got injured and was out for the season, that we shouldn't rush him back and give Sinisalo the game time.
Then it got announced he may make the final, said it then again, it would be rushed and extremely harsh on Sinisalo to drop him for the final. Sends a bad message to the lad.

Said it last week as well when Kasper was returning. It wasn't fair on Sinisalo at all, at this stage we all could see Sinisalo was a good keeper and he played his part in reaching the final. Sinisalo deserved to see out the season.

The argument from many of our support was "got to play your number one" with no room for discussion or reasoning other than "main guy".

Bit us in the * that did.

Flapped at that goal and as good as some of the sheep penalties were, he was nowhere near any of them.

Favourites.
One of Rodgers actual downfalls, he has players he likes and players he just doesn't like/want and we see that all too often in how we line up and how quickly players are back out the side.

He made a mistake. It happens. Chill out * sake.

 

He'll be no1 next season and rightly so..

Terrible time to make a mistake but I'm loathed to criticise him.

 

What a load of pish. Guy’s had a good season. Made a mistake yesterday and that’s him done? * get a grip.

 

If Sinisalo had come in and looked shaky I could understand the desire to get Kasper back in as soon as possible but Sinisalo was absolutely fine. Same goes for Nawrocki and to an extent Forrest came in and looked better to those they replaced yet still didn't get a start

 

All three should have started.
All three in form.
Same with Maeda through the middle and use Forrest on the left (Kuhn on the right).
Genuinely think the team would have played better yesterday
