He may have been telling the truth both times. Celtic may have been his proudest moment at that point , and Spurs his proudest moment now.

Man management. If he was honest

Had zero interest in watching it, by all accounts im glad I didnt bother. But happy for Ange. Was kind of hoping he would win and tell Spurs to shove it.

I see he got a 2m bonus so thats maybe enough to make him feel a bit happier!

It’s not even the criticism per say as 20 games beaten deserves criticism but the criticism had started 10 games into the season and was non stopped basically their was loads of journalists wanting him to fail and that rat Jamie Ohara deserves a slap he was ange biggest critic on sky and talksport and now he’s licking up anges * again was going as far as slagging off Scottish game when it really had nothing to do with it

Agree but how does he give up a chance to develop the players he’s bought further.

think it’ll be taken out of his hands anyway and levy will look elsewhere.

in that scenario where do you think Ange would go next?

Think he’s best just walking away tbh. Their record in the league is an absolute embarrassment.

Best going before they properly turn on him.

If he can replicate his EL-winning tactics with us in Europe, maaaybe. His scouting is superb.

Finishing 1 place above the relegation zone and winning the Europa League. What a weird season he's had.

If he just held his hands up and admitted their league campaign has been embarrassing and not good enough it would’ve spared him a lot of the criticism.

But he acts absolutely bewildered when anyone criticises their form or where they are in the league. As if even with the injury problems they’ve had, 17th is reflective of their squad.

To label their season “outstanding” after today’s game just doesn’t wash. Europa League win was a fine achievement. But for the most part they’ve been abysmal

He has, several times. However, he's also given context for that, and this context is mitigating *to an extent*.

(Example: it wasn't just the injuries, it was the long-term result of them. The club couldn't even do training sessions for matches for a month, because of the number of players available (too few) and the number of games (too many). Players returning gradually added weeks/months to this lack of cohesion. Right in the middle of the busiest period of the league.)

Winning a European Trophy isn’t just one game. It’s not the charity shield or that

He has, and he's also made the point he had to prioritise Europe from January onwards. Which makes sense as it was all that they could win.

EL is massive for them as a fan base.
