The folks at Football Rankings on X shared this https://x.com/footrankings/status/1924173746459336775?s=46.

It also seems consistent with how the rules of how they decide the league by head to head are officially reported in it comes down to a head to head before goal difference. They seem adamant if Rijeka had won today they would have won the league.

The only way that can be Dinamo is ahead, is if goal difference in head to heads doesn’t count only points.

Who can we realistically face seeded or if unseeded?

    If unseeded we could face:
    Bodo Glimt
    Ferencvaros
    Copenhagen
    Red Star Belgrade

    If seeded we could face:
    Basel
    Slovan Bratislava
    Steau Bucharest
    Sturm Graz

It’s gonna be Bodo, that’s always how it works for us.

    Not necessarily Sturm Graz.
Currently they are on 39 pts with Austria Vienna on 36 and Wolfsberg on 36 pts.
Final match between Sturm Graz and Wolfsberg if Wolfsberg win 3-0 then they go top on GD and it then wouldnt matter if Austria Vienna beat bottom team unless its by 11-0, it means Wolfsberg would be in play offs.

I know this is about our CL qualifying but Rangers route isn’t half shaping up to be tough if USG win at home to Gent this weekend then you are looking at -

    - Benfica
    - Club Brugge
    - Feyenoord
    - Nice
    - Fenerbache
    - Servette/ Young Boys
    - Sturm Graz/ Wolfsberger/ Austria Vienna/ Salzburg
    - Brann
    - Panathinaikos
    - Viktoria Plzen/ Banik Ostrava

So they will be seeded the first two rounds but they won’t be if they get to the playoff which likely means a tie with Benfica or Club Brugge.

I thought they'd be seeded, but even then some tough unseeded teams in the play offs even if you are seeded.

So they'll go back to their level in the EL and continue to believe they're world beaters, picking up coefficient points that in turn make our lives easier for qualification...

    nice :BR1:

They will be up to the playoff round if USG match Club Brugge’s result this weekend.

Both Benfica and Club Brugge are higher ranked than them, they have been stung by the Europa League winner having not already qualified as that has meant that there is no straight entry for Benfica as the top ranked side.

The Second round they enter at will likely be modest opposition but the third round could be a tricky tie. I know they beat Nice in the Europa but that was a heavily changed side which I doubt they would be so lucky to come up against in a CL qualification. Ultimately they would then likely play Club Brugge or Benfica if all sides made the play off.

The above could change if Club Brugge win the league because USG bottle it.

USG play Gent who've lost their last 5 games, they should be winning.
