I think he should start with the simple reason of his current form and he has proved to Strachan his place for wednesday night. I personally think, crosas and maloney have also tried to prove they have earned there place in the team aswell

I'm a firm believer that the man in form should keep the jersey, so yes, Samaras should start.

And, to think, the amount of idiots who were furious about us signing him saying he's "not Celtic class".

I said at the time, signing Georgios Samaras for 1 million was an incredible piece of business.

it would be so so unfair if he was dropped.

today his first touch looked class too, his finishing is great, sometimes its dodgy, but he just passes it into the net, which i like.

he deserves his place in the team, and long may his form continue.

would be pleased to see him start next game but not sure if he will going by recent selections from gs. he says himself 'tried and trusted'

Great first half from him but did you get the feeling he spent more time on the grass than on his feet in the second half he was slipping all over the place..

Can i make this my sig :56:

Sammy has a lot more variation in his locker than JVOH but JVOH is a more natural goal scorer. I think Sammy is a better bet in an open game but JVOH is better against a deep massed defense. Still, Sammy is the man in possession and with that scoring rate you have to start with him until the goals dry up.

samaras kicked the ball of the motherwell player and it went out for a shy but the linesman gave the through to motherwell and samaras just walked away and made a circle with his hand and put it to his forehead as if to say the linesman's a * :56:

We've got 3 1st choice strikers just now, and it's a great thing. Deserves a chance in the Champions League I think.

I like Sammy, think he's doing great

but Jan has scored against the likes of Man U and Barcelona

the truth is that Jan is able to bring the same game against all types of teams. He basically takes the skill out of the equation and turns it into a physical contest against whichever defense he is facing and he has proven he can produce goals from these contests. So I leave the opening slots open to any one of the strikers.

I'd play him and McDonald from the start again on Wednesday night, primarily cause he's in form and scoring. Plus Hesselink deserves to lose his place after his pish against the huns.
