Felt like a win today after that moment at the death. Over the moon for Forrest. Such a weird goal too. The finish looks like it should be a routine save for the keeper given where it landed in the net! Still, must've been fate!

As for the performance - atrocious. No energy and I do wonder if the injury to Hatate put the frighteners into the players today. A lot of them clearly holding back, maybe not wanting to * off St Mirren to the point they try to leave one on us. Which I could understand.

As for the playing for places argument - no chance. Rodgers has his favourites in this squad and his team for the cup final was made before a ball was even kicked today.

Onto next week and hopefully a powerful performance in the final.

 

Missed this today, got * kidney stones and at 3am one decided to drop out of my kidney as I was going to bed. Had no interest in anything today.
However well done to wee James Forrest! What a servant and what a scenario to come off the bench on the last day of the league season to score in his 16th straight season. Buzzing for him!

First half was dire. Strangely St Mirren scoring was probably a good thing. Quite enjoyed it in the end. Noise after Forrest scored was unreal. Not sure I have heard louder at Parkhead.
