Great header for the goal and made a few good blocks, on the evidence of tonight he should be startin more games.

I think he looks largely decent, still think he looks wooden and immobile at times but no more so than any of our other cbs have on occasion. Dunno why he doesn't play more.

    Agreed.
I think he is third CB now, with Trusty going out the door.
Still got Dane Murray to come back too.

He's done very little wrong anytime he's played. I'd even go back to last year as well.

I'd be keeping him or at the very least giving him a loan.

Scales/Trusty distribution vs his is night and day.

You canny be lumping Scales and Trusty together when talking about distribution. They're not even in the same ballpark.

He's looks better than Scales and Trusty, baffling the lack of game time he's been given under Brendan, he's going to leave in the Summer and be a main player for whichever club he goes to, real shame his future won't be here

His attitude is top notch too, would be easy for him to mope around given his lack of opportunity, but he's always got a smile on his face, he has an amazing knack for blocking shots and reading danger, in the very limited game time he's been given he's demonstrated that plenty of times

Brendan said he preferred a right footed player alongside a left footed player at CB for balance as his reason for dropping him after his strong performances against the huns and Hearts, yet at the weekend, when taking CCV out to prepare him for the final, he started Trusty and Scales at CB, two left footed players, despite having Nawrocki on the bench to keep the balance at CB he said he prefers, puzzling

More saying that I believe he's better than both. Far quicker and crisper with his passing.

Aye, does look like he takes care of the ball a bit better tbf. The other two have a habit of playing a 15 yard pass off the pitch.

He scored from a corner, made several blocking tackles, distributed the ball well and looks comfortable on the ball so, Brendan, what's not to like?

He’s played himself into a 4th choice role or a move surely.

I think he’s 100% gone but he’ll be forever one of the biggest mysteries we’ve seen in my time. Been minimum 7/10 every day time i can remember

easily the best at playing out in that pool of centre halves although he doesn’t have much competition.

The pass punched into MOR before Kyogo’s screamer against the Huns always comes to mind and not one of the others have it in the locker.

Keep. Thought he could of met that Gueye a bit sooner for their goal but other than that. Flawless

The lack of minutes for Nawrocki is meant to be down to his fitness. Apparently he was constantly picking up niggles.

I don’t buy the narrative about Nawrocki being a good defender but not good enough on the ball, I think he is probably our best centre back on the ball but the bar is low there. He has untidy moments and is a bit slow at times but I don’t think his use of the ball is a negative.

Given the manager clearly doesn’t rate him it would be best for all if he moved on in the summer.

He's deffo fairly slow. It's likely why Rodgers doesn't rate him that highly..

Has came in and done well recently. Hopefully get a good fee in the summer..

He’s definitely slower than our other centre backs but his distribution and his reading of the game is far better than Trusty or Scales.

Were you happy with Maik Nawrocki’s contribution?

Yes, yes. I thought he played through the lines really, really well, defended well, and obviously, he was very dangerous in the box. Great header for his first goal. So, yes, I was pleased with the two centre-halves.

It was awkward for Auston in the first half, because he was blinded a wee bit with the sun on that side. But I thought those two were strong. Defended well, goalkeeper was assured, two full-backs, excellent.
