How can he possibly give a handball against Fermin for that goal? Valverde had the ball after the handball and Fermin won it back off him. Mental.

 

Interesting how the refs and var will justify the two handballs being both correct.

Surely if you're not giving the penalty claim because it's booted off the arm from a yard away, you can't chalk off the goal as it's the same thing, surely?

Probably underestimated his own quality, he was great at pulling the strings and controling the tempo, slowing games when they were in the lead, keeping posseion etc

Valverde and Tchouameni are good but they don't have those qualities, Bellingham is garbage I think as a footballer, he's like McTominay can head a ball, poach a goal but he can't pass and move and create or anything. Camavinga as well I don't think is up to much, gets stuck in, dances about on a ball but not that effective they need someone like a Rodri.

The lack of control and how bad their tactics are Kroos and especially before Kroos and Modric when he still had the legs to play more were basically the glue of their team. If they nicked a lead those two would dominate the game on the ball and let them sit and counter, if they were behind in a game they'd go gung ho and those two would sit in behind and knock the ball about as the other team sat back. Now they've not got the control when in front or the class when behind.

 

He is some player already. Their games as so entertaining with the high line they play, end to end.
