    The standard in the Europa league this season has been beyond embarrassing, 2 teams down near the bottom of the premier league cruising towards the final. I think it was a big mistake stopping teams dropping down from the Champions league.

    The fact spurs and man United are in the final is insane.

    As above, shows the level of it this year. Been proper average. I'd really have fancied us.

    Have to laugh at united fans ole'in and the likes of Casemiro on 300k a week milking this. This should ve the standard for them reaching a europa final. Just the £2bn odd spent.

    Those two games clearly showed just how poor this competition is this year. Two pish poor teams struggling in their own domestic league to compete against each other in the final. Maybe our media will see this too and stop blowing smoke up the huns * about how good they are in Europe but somehow I doubt it

    It doesn't help when the CL are getting the top 5/ 6 teams from the likes of the epl. It's ridiculous and stopping actual champions of other leagues getting through. And also diluting the Europa

    Folk are dragging the Europa for being *, Chelsea are about to win the 3rd tier competition with their B/youth team.

    Making a complete mockery of the competition.

    No qualifying for any of them, they scrapped qualifiers for top 5 teams years ago because it often lead to some of them not getting all their teams in it.

    That's the risk of it though. I think you'll probably see a PL team win it every 2 or 3 seasons. English teams should probably win it every year given their budgets. They haven't won yet though and they might not win in the final.

    I imagine Chelsea chuck out a really good side against Betis though. The league season will be over.
