    I noticed that.

There is a video in Celtic Chat of the 1980 SC final riot between us and the huns. we invaded the pitch in celebration and the huns invaded to attack us. you see the horses come in and jog by the huns no problem then charge the Celtic end swinging their batons.

Some things never change I suppose.

I was on the pitch that day, those were the days,to me that was just something that happened from time to time, whether it be on the pitch, street or pub,I would get involved regularly but never thought myself as being a football hooligan.

Sat through the new Danny Dyer film today, Marching Powder.

Hooliganism is a very prominant part of the story... almost feels like it is trying to be to Football Factory, what T2 is to Trainspotting. I don't remember if he is supposed to be playing that same character from Football Factory, but it feels as though it is.

But that aside, it had me wonider, if football hooliganism is still a problem? Don't hear about it/not in the news etc, but is that because they don't want to draw attention to it, or it just doesn't exist as it did back in the day etc? Or is it not really an issue here in Scotland compared to down south etc?

Hooliganism is very prominent in Eastern European countries and Russia etc. It is still a thing in England with more trouble attached to lower league teams from tough towns. The EPL fans do misbehave but too many cameras. The likes of Italy, Germany, Spain and now Scotland and Ireland are more swayed by Ultra culture.
