Am delighted Idah is getting a go at #1 striker, and think he'll absolutely smash it. In fact I'd go so far to say he was brought in exclusively to take over from Kyogo when he left. That is excellent planning in my book.

We now need to find the next one to push Idah on and keep him sharp. Of course if it's Kvistgaarden it would be perfect, him being able to cover all across the front 3.

But if it's not happening this window, an experienced striker on loan is ideal. I'd favour that, even without an option, over a panic buy.

Same goes for LB. If we can't get KT done thus window, an experienced guy on loan is perfect.

 

Fofana, Giui and Ings names being battered about could be * but never know

 

Apparently we did seek one out. We just didn't buy him.

 

I would have honestly begrudgingly accepted a failure to replace Kyogo if we had new signings confirmed at LB, LW (Jota) and then maybe another RW to rotate Kuhn and then a young random find for any position of whatever would take.

That way it would at least have felt come summer window LB is sorted as we've signed a 2 permanent players in the newbie plus Pre contact summer arrival for KT, Jota through the door already and then some exciting talents to compete across the park like I said in RW for Kuhn.

If he was brought in to replace Kyogo, why did BR say he wanted to replace Kyogo yesterday or day before when he was asked?
