We only ever have two strikers that play regularly , regardless of the fee it's a total waste of a key position in the squad . We have 6 CM's you can may be afford a passenger in the squad there but not at centre forward ffs..

 

Losing patience rapidly. Looking like he's no got the mentality for it. Pish.

 

I'm sick of watching him, what's that 4 starts in a row now, no goals and offered next to nothing? No goals in last 12 games? He's rotten and not even worth half of what we paid. Norwich must be laughing.

 

Been a terrible signing overall for the money..

Doesn't react quickly enough to loose balls
Hold up play isn't good enough overall
First touch is often *
Isn't even that much of a handful for a big boy

Robbed blind, thanks for the Scottish Cup last season but he's looking like a lost cause tbh, far too much to work on, gonna have to cut our losses eventually

Far better strikers playing in Scotland that we could sign for pennies just now, on recent form. If he isn't offering anything inside the box he needs to be coming deep and doing far better than he currently is.

That Kilmarnock game last season is looking more and more like a one off.

 

I said in the Summer that it was blatantly obvious we hadn't bothered scouting anyone else for the ST position.

Should never had paid that fee, honestly felt at best was a 3rd striker.

He had that wee purple patch last season, but all strikers do that, *, look at Missers for Huns.

I think it’s blatantly obvious it was a Rodgers call. He was raving about him.

Obviously sees Idah as a project. He can be the manager to unlock this potential in him.

Exactly re the purple patch . That's why players have good YT compilations.

 

Feel like we’d have a different Idah if he was number 1 penalty taker and not Engels. Taking away the thing that gave him confidence to go on a roll has made a big difference. (Not that I’m saying Engels should be off penalties)

I'm not one to completely write off any of our players but the man is a fraud and never celtic class unfortunately, doesn't appear to have the mentality or attitude to change things around when the going is tough either

 

Unfortunately it looks like he was third choice striker at Norwich, had a purple patch at Celtic and has now reverted to the player that was a third choice striker for Norwich. What we’re seeing now appears to be the real Adam Idah and it’s nowhere near good enough.
