It was a dreadful performance, why people can't call a spade a spade is beyond me. It shows a distinct lack of mentality to be content with that game given the level of opposition and injuries they had.

 

I appreciate what you're saying and that the CL is a much better standard than the EL but I it reminded me of one of those horrible turgid games that the huns usually play in and scratch out a win.

 

Would have took a draw before hand but seemed like they were there for the taking if we just stepped up a bit. Never complain at a point away from home in the CL though

Yeah before the game I would have been happy with a draw but when I saw their standard after it definitely disappointed not to get full 3 points, they were on a par with shaktar donesk last year again a team we failed to beat at 2 attempts

 

I've been saying this for weeks now. It's really obvious how dependent we are on him and his level has definitely dropped since we returned from the international break.

We need to mix it up a bit. If the rest of them aren't good enough, buy some players in January who are.

 

I’m not happy taking two points off Brugge and Zagreb.

As decent as Brugge were, it’s two of the easiest games you will get in the CL.

Now we have a nervy game against YB where the stadium will be sitting on tenterhooks when realistically we should be through.

 

Whatever standard anybody thinks Dinamo are you'll do well to name me a worse side that we have ever played away from home in the CL group stage. I'm struggling to think of one. Perhaps Shakhtar Donetsk under Ange but at least they had the excuse of the Russian invasion and being forced to play away in Poland. That game was there for the taking tonight and we blew it.

 

This. It's * baffling and a real lack of any ambition or standards.

Couldn't care less what Dinamo's results have been in the CL this season. I watched them for 90 odd minutes tonight and they were pish. If we had bothered trying to win and go after them, we'd have won with a bit to spare.

 

Serious lack of respect for DZ as there was for Brugge.. we havnt become world beaters over night for * sake.

Totally. Such a small club mentality.

 

Why are they the worst team we ever played? They had a game plan and they executed it. They are one point behind us in the table. Some people carrying on like we played Ross County or the likes.

They set up to play on the break and make it difficult for us to break down.. it worked

If we were getting outplayed by a far superior club..hanging on and down to 10 men...then a point would be fantastic....

To have 1 * effort on goal against muck....we threw away another 2 points.....and these are crucial

 

Brugge last three goals in CL are * bizarre. Talk about riding their luck

I thought the point against Brugge was a great point purely based on how bad we were in the first half. Tonight is the opposite it felt like we had one eye on Sunday and played with the handbrake on that being said win on Sunday and I think I will manage to forgive and forget

Was points dropped for me as well, Zagreb never kicked a ball or attempted to and let us have all the ball and we done fuckall either.

If you aren't beating them in a game like that you are not really going to beat anyone away in the CL it's probably as easy a game as you will get and we never bothered out arses trying to win it.

 

I feel we are slowly but surely going back to Rodgers passy passy side to side, back to the keeper *. We seen it last time and we are starting to see it again.

 

They aren't muck though. They are a point behind us in the groups, they've beaten salzburg and bratislava, drew with Monaco. They are pretty much the same level as us judged this season or over the last decade.

As much as we saw this as an opportunity to win, they would have thought the same. A draw is ok. I really don't get the outrage
