C.P. lack of atmosphere AGAIN PETITION

just thought if a keep making these then somthin will get done about it

EVRY ONE ON THIS FORUM NOW THAT THINKS THE LACK OF ATMOSPHERE
IS UN-ACCEPTABLE EMAIL CELTIC TO SEE IF THEY CAN DO ANYTHIN ABOUT IT

who at celtic do you think we should e-mail

 

you can email no one what can the club do ?? hold a gun to fans head and say make some noise ???? at the end of the day its up to us as fans to do our bit that includes makin noise for 90mins...but it would help if the team played football that we could shout about !!!

It shouldnt just be how good the fooball is, we are supporters of celtic, no matter how bad they play we should still be given them support. Fairenough its easier to make noise when we are playin brillant and winning, and maybe if we had made a good signin to make us fans excited, but at the end of the day we have our team til at least january so we should get behind them. I remember the days of martin oniel, when i first started goin to games and the atmosphere was amazin, even against smaller teams.

 

Fans are becoming blase in SPL and expects team to win every game handsomely playing great football...i sometimes feel we put extra pressure on the team by staying quiet and/or complaining.

CL games are never quiet as our expectations are lower

 

Drink is the answer, always remember ma da coming home from the pub singing all the celtic/rebel songs. Half 12 kick offs are quieter than later ones due to less booze. Think about it. The best atmospheres are night games ie champs league and huns last season. Oh and since half the songs that used to be heard at cp years ago are banned then its no * wonder its worse, but there is pockets in the stadium that never shut up :bbpd:

There are two main reasons for the dying atmosphere:

1) All seater stadia and higher prices have basically eradicated the working class fan and, lets face it, the majority of the neds

2) Half 12 kick offs have murdered old firm games. I live 6 miles from CP, bt still need to get up at 9 if i want a decent swally before the game. * knows how hard it must be for the 'far-flung fans'. Half the crowd are still waking up when the game kicks off.

A better petition would be to ban 12.30 kick offs.

Who the * wants to get out their bed at that time on a Saturday / Sunday?

Aye everyone is more up for it with a good drink down them.

 

I make sure I'm always up for it regardless of how drunk I am or how important the match is. I am there to SUPPORT my team. These people who make no noise unless someone does something wrong are the real problem. Show some support and encouragement, it will go a long way.

 

Despairs me to hear so many fans sprouting pish about 'drink' being the answer.
