When on it, the eternal comment about Reo. We can’t wait until 20 mins into a game to realise if he fancies it or not. We need guys that you know what you’re getting and Bernardo and McCowan offer that way more than Reo does.

I think it will go to extra time and penalties

  3. They’ll be done in after last night, 3-0 Celtic and a statement performance.

Consistency is definitely an issue for him but still thinks he'll start on Saturday. I think Rodgers will see it the same way too.

If we are going to win this it'll be 2-1/3-2 and plan A had better be good enough, so fingers crossed on that.
Have a feeling this game will be enjoyable for the neutrals.

Do we reckon CCV is fit enough to start a game of this intensity?

    Maybe it's a bit of a risk.

Should be a cracker, the 2 top teams in the country, the sheep have had some start to the season, will be interesting to see how long they can maintain it.

Time to start treating the sheep like contenders...Think we were a bit complacent about them at Parkhead when we went 2-0 up. Guilty of it myself too, reminiscent of that season the Diets went on an early run under Mad Vlad with an unbeaten start too and then bizarrely sacked George Burley and ended up 2nd about 20 points behind us.

Hard to call, really thought we'd steamroll them in the 2-2 game.. had predicted 4-0 and it was heading that way.

They have resilience and a manager who knows how to change things.. but I actually think Rodgers, with his Hampden record and the fact we're due a big domestic performance.. it will be a bit of a statement victory.

And when you add the eagerness to get our hands back on the trophy, 'our trophy' as our Captain calls it.. we'll be in the final come Sat night.

I was thinking that for once the midweek game load might actually favour us this weekend. Aberdeen clearly had a much tougher match then us last night plus we rested a decent chunk of our team for all or most of the game. So hopefully that can help us on Saturday.

I would assume CCV starting and indeed playing most of the game last night was with the intention of getting him match sharp for the this weekend and that the toe injury he has is fully healed.

Aye, he still looked a little off the pace at times fir me, not had a 90 under his belt in a while. But, he's our best CB, so hopefully he's up to the required speed.

Think we will set up to keep them quiet like Atlanta, no fire works in the first 20 minutes if we can help it, then impose our game on them.

Hatate will start. He was good against Motherwell I thought.

And it was a much needed 99mins.. he needed to be brought out his 60/70min comfort zone.

I would certainly hope so and hopefully we will be the fresher over the 90 minutes too for once given the midweek fixtures.
