    Daizen doesn't rest.

He just needs a 45 second recharge and he will be primed.

Doesn't seem his same superhuman self the last couple of games. Still played his part tonight but could maybe use a rest.

Maybe too much birthday cake when he was back in Japan on the break.

Definitely not doing his normal stuff these last two games. Usually you expect him to be running about mental chasing anything that moves but he's just playing like a normal guy.

Yeah either carrying a knock or needs a rest. Defo not himself.

Noone really pushing him on that side.

Need Palma to do something next 2 months before January. Winger will definitely be signed in January.

We should be looking to bring some quality in there.

Something definitely looks off with him, be it a niggling injury or maybe recovering from a minor sickness bug, even if he has a bad game his mental workrate is still there, but that's two games in a row he hasn't looked as rapid or relentless as usual. Hope it's not something more serious, he's been in great form for us this season generally and would be badly missed if he has to take a rest.

Looks well off it last 2 games.
Should consider dropping him and trying Palma at weekend.

Think he’s playing with a knock, he actually looked tired the other night and was subbed early. That doesn’t happen in those games with him.

He looked Maeda’s version of sluggish. Which isn’t the same as most other players but there’s a difference.

Again I don't think he was great.

Should have had a pen mind you. I hope that ahead of January a couple of wingers are priorities.

Would be moving Palma out and Yang is just not impactful enough. We have been fortunate so far that Kuhn hasn't gotten injured otherwise we are in trouble.

Was off it at weekend again, did get into some good positions but just seemed to pass backwards all the time and his touch seems heavy.

Can't run the engine in the red line constantly and not expect to do damage eventually... Probably would've been a good game to give him a rest. Not sure how much the McGregor injury disrupted plans though, so we'll never be sure what the intentions were...

Would definitely like to see him given the Dundee game off, because he's like a greyhound... If he sees the hare, he'll run... We need to be sure we don't break him, with our manic schedule and all the international matches

Am happy to just put this down to a dip in form and just keep persevering with it. He showed enough earlier in the season to warrant a little faith in him to come good.

Hope he kicks it up another soon though, cannot be arsed watching him on one of his wild spells, especially when we're limited out wide the now.

I would definitely use the Dundee game as a make or break for Palma personally. Ball would be in his court then to perform. Give Maeda a rest as he looks like he needs it

Needs to be benched for the Dundee game, don’t know if he is carrying an injury or just off form but we need our man back on top form.

Still think he needs a rest. I'd bench him for Dundee then bring him back for Aberdeen at the weekend.

He did show some encouraging signs start of season, now he is back to the 'normal' Maeda.
He struggles badly against defensive teams with no space in behind that Tavernier gives him.

He simply isn't a very good footballer.
We need another Kuhn type player of high technical ability as well as high effort on the left side.
A permanent left back that doesn't need bailed out constantly by a winger would also help.

Would leave him on the bench tonight, will need him as back up for Kyogo with Iadh out.

My guess is that he's had the cold or flu or something. He'll be right back at it soon enough.
