Good time for the international break for him, he can go away and get himself together, been a tough few days for him, he is a young lad and he needs to shake this off

Bernardo and/or mccowan deserve to start ahead of him next game. You should have to earn your place regardless of who you are.

    Aye, should have been McCowan..

Ross County away must have been a bit * after Dortmund.. still looked shell-shocked from that game.

I don't see him being swapped out home to Aberdeen but I agree in principle that noone should be safe from some rotation when they aren't firing. I'm still happy with how Engels has started.

I thought almost everyone looked off it today and clearly a bit of a euro hangover.

Think the Dortmund result has knocked the stuffing out of him

We need to have a bit of patience with him. He’s already shown he has quality, just needs to continue his development now. We’ve got the right manager to help him do that.

Him, Hatate and McGregor were all rubbish first half. He’s a quality player though and allowed a bad game here and there. He’s only started a handful of games and you can see how important he’ll be going forward.

Although he's our record signing its worth remembering hes only just turned 21 and is still settling in to a new team and a new country. Hes bound to have a few ups and downs but no doubting his quality

His worst game today (dortmund aside) since he signed. But as other have said, can tell he's a quality player who's still young and settling in. International break will do him go I think.

I think Engels is a confidence type player. Once we get our momentum and rhythm flowing we will see his true qualities.

Like others have said he wasn’t great all today.

Needs to find his form and maybe the international break will do him a world of good.

He will come back flying hopefully.

On the bench for Belgium against France atm.

  17. Came on for about 15 minutes..

Couple decent touches but to be honest seemed slightly lost. Was playing high up against 10 man France but couldn't get in to the game, Belgium were passing it about on the edge of the French box but no missing him out..

Still, shows the faith they have in him that he's being brought on against one of the best sides in the world..

Watched it too, felt like it was more of an issue with Belgium generally. Too scared to do anything other than pass to Doku/Trossard and hope they can beat the fullback.

He had one nice play with Trossard but not really involved much otherwise.

  19. Aye deffo. Trossard outrageously greedy on so many occasions..
