  1. Last two games have been against the huns and a tight game against the diets, no real room to bring him on imo, same with Trusty.

I'd be starting all of our new signigns against Falkirk at the weekend, so hopefully we see him there.

  2. Taylor has really come on to a game but he can't play every game and will need a rest. As someone else said this new boy is a back up. He will get games but doubt will be a long run unless something happens to Taylor

  3. Agree, would be madness shaking things up in the backline in the two previous games.

  4. I'd still bet on Taylor starting the vast majority of games this season.

It's a position Rodgers has openly wanted to improve but get the feeling the young Barca lad isn't the one. A last minute loan with no longer term commitment tells me our main target didn't come to fruition and we are biding our time until that option can be realised.

  5. Could easily argue he's improving the position just by pressuring Taylor to hold it... :39:

  6. He’s not even kicked a ball yet ffs. Give the guy time.

  7. Exactly. Only just arrived - at the very least we now have an alternative. Rodgers will assess him and hopefully he gets some minutes at the weekend.

Dont care if he is upset if he dont get game time as he isnt our player and also that the reason is that Taylor have to perform every game to keep him out. Im sure he will get his chance soon though as im not convinced that Taylor can handle elite opposition.

  8. Rodgers clearly wanting oor Greg to think he's no1, get the contract singed.. becomes back up..

    Valle takes over.. :BR1:

  9. We will have to see when Valle does get his chance which likely will be this week probably against Falkirk. But I suspect your likely to be right.

  10. I'm not righting the guy off, I just don't think he's here for the longer term. I think he's been brought in as a last minute back up to Taylor as we've prob missed out on our main target.

  11. Can see he's technically very good but needs to add some physicality pretty soon for us or he'll struggle..

  12. Young player, new defence and his debut.

Willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Showed some flashes but I thought he looked a lot more powerful and a bit taller in videos.

  13. I think technically he was good, could make a real case for a foul in their second as well.

Really struggled with the physicality but that will come. I’d like to see him with a more settled defence alongside him. Maybe if we’re up 2 or 3 get him on for minutes in the legs.

  14. I think Palma makes him look worse in the same way playing with Maeda makes Taylor look better (he can wander in to the middle where he's best while Maeda covers the flank). Hopefully he gets a chance behind a better winger in the future.

  15. Thought he showed some nice stuff although pretty lightweight. Not bad fir his first appearance.

  16. I thought he was poor. No different to Bernabei but it's a debut so we'll see

  18. He got an assist, that's one positive from today.

  19. He needs some 20 min cameos now after this. Hopefully not a case he's out and don't see him for ages.

    Should be given more opportunity.
