    True, but the point is, Barca are in a financially precarious position, so there is that to take into account also.

    Whatever the loan fee agreed between the clubs, it will not purely and solely be to just cover wages, as Barca will probably look to pocket a portion of that to be used elsewhere. Football at this level is a business after all, and loans in business happen but even with favourable terms and goodwill between Celtic & Barca, they are not a completely charity and a loan deal is not purely out of altruistic benevolance.
