    Having a unproven youth player as a succession plan when we potentially lose two first team LBs doesn't exactly qualm my fears. :giggle1:

    Straight loans without a option obviously reek of us scrambling in the market.

    Was decent on loan at levante last season you know he will be technically good coming from Barca. Highly rated by all accounts. could be kicking the can down the road till we get a proper Recruitment setup after the window

    Was he not meant to go to Reading on loan? I'm sure I read that somewhere.

    My point was moreso if he did go out on loan and did really well, I think the idea would be for him to be our back-up next season.

    A lot of if's mind you, not heard about him leaving since the original link/

    Yet another project. Great.

    Seems like a bad deal for both teams. Not sure why Barca sent him to us. Defenders see little to no rotation. Chances are he'll hardly ever play unless Taylor gets injured.

    He's quality mate, I've watched him a few times. Good size, pacey, can play inside or go on the outside, strong defender. Watched him against Vini Jr in pre-season on his wrong side and he did very well. An immediate upgrade on Taylor.

    Alex Valle, currently on loan at Levante, has been turning heads with his performances. Bojan Krkic, Barcelona’s loan scout, expressed satisfaction with Valle’s progress, stating, “He is performing very well too.” Valle’s loan spell at Levante has been particularly noteworthy, with the young left-back accumulating valuable experience.



    Valle’s defensive contributions have been a standout feature of his loan stint. In 10 appearances, he has made 31 clearances, 10 interceptions, 12 headed clearances, and won 11 tackles. Impressively, Valle has kept a clean disciplinary record, avoiding yellow or red cards.     He maybe a project at Barca but he's an instant upgrade on Taylor for us. Done very well at Levante last season and pre season with Barca.
