    Played the majority of his appearances last season on the wing.. comfortable on either side it seems. (26 on the right, 10 on the left, 18 goal contributions).

    I’m all for having another left-footed winger, to compete with Kühn for that cutting-inside role on the right - especially if he can also play striker. LTB ideal - as long as they don’t shaft us for an exorbitant fee.

    10 goals and 11 assists in 50 games for Portsmouth last season. 21 years old, had an England youth call up… looks decent.

    That being said, I was really hoping we would target someone like Balikwisha or someone of similar quality. Not disputing the lad had a good season in League One and our best player came from there but wanted someone who had showed a wee bit more at a higher level. Desperately need to be getting rid of wingers before we bring any in as well. Think we still have 6 in the squad(Maeda, Palma, Johnston, Kuhn, Forrest, Yang) and we could really do with shifting both Johnston and Yang.
