  1. Remember the eddie murphy raw?

"If your in the desert, and your starvin, and someone hands you a cracker, you'd be like, "gad *! Thats the best cracker ive ever had in my life!".

If we had any semblance of an active transfer window where actual funds were being employed to strengthen the team, this would be a very underwhelming option.
He's turning 32 at christmas, decidedly "average" (by epl standards) and in a queue to be put out to pasture by Palace.

We've been so starved of transfer activity that its making folk desperate to get anything in the door.

As a LB option this is a joke imo. If a 32 year old from the epl is the best we can find then we're in bigger * that i ever imagined.

I'd take him as a utility player no problem, fill the injury holes during the season? Yep. No problem.

As a solid investment for a position thats been criminally neglected for half a decade, it's farcical.

  3. A left side of Schlupp and Maeda would be a nightmare to play against (physically at least).

    Get him signed.

  4. Would take Jeffrey the butler from Fresh Prince at this point

  8. Not a bad player but if this is where the recruitment team is at we may as well pack it in.

  9. Still only 31, and would come with the requisite pace and power demanded by the manager.
Very experienced and versatile. Would fill in at left back and midfield. It has proven very difficult to find someone capable enough to nail down that left back spot, Schlupp could well be the answer, and a low risk on a loan option. I would be willing to give him the opportunity of a new challenge with Celtic.

  10. What's he even like defensively? Reminder we need a left back for Europe as well not just domestically that's my big issue with Taylor. Not really worried about him against domestic opposition but he is targeted by better sides.

  11. Can't say for certain about his defensive abilities but the fact he's physically more capable makes him better suited to European football than GT.

  12. Should have him in by January I'm told.. monitoring the situation

  15. he’s strong 1 v 1 but have seen him caught out a few times albeit in a top league.
Can handle himself physically unlike GT which unfortunately he can’t do anything about.

Can see his appeal as he can obviously be comfortable coming inside the pitch to play inverted as he can play in midfield too.

Just quite underwhelming if thats what our scouts are picking out as a prime target.
