These incompetent Dinosaurs are truly taking the * now,

1st August and We haven't signed one outfield player or strengthened from last season.

Bernardo and Idah deals are taking forever to get over the line despite that We have been actively pursuing them since the window opened.

Would not be surprised if these Dinosaurs are keeping an eye on who our "Friends across the City" are signing and thinking that We don't need many signings.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a 'sleeping at the wheel' banner come Sunday.

I think we all agree that there is no confidence in our board, I do wonder how some of them can sleep at night. As long as we are marginally ahead of the scum they are delighted.

Last season we were weaker and you could argue at the moment this season we'll be even weaker if Hatate and MOR get offski. Keeping the duopoly alive and well.

Words, more words, some irritable words, angry words, angrier words, irate words, rage monster time!

Action from thousands of fans... Tumbleweed

NOTHING is going to change with these * until thousands protest at the self-sabotage.

How much is in the coffers £60-£70 million, not including upcoming CL money and possible O'Reilly transfer?

Not 1 outfield player signed? The only 1 mooted was a backup on loan last year. Staggering.

Anyone would think we've a transfer embargo with the way these * operate. I genuinely believe if we were offered prime messi for £1M, our board would try to negotiate with £1k upfront and the rest in performance based bonuses.

The main criticism of the Board is when it comes to Europe, they should be showing more ambition, can still be done within the confines of our business model.

A lot of money has been wasted on projects that never see the light of day, granted we've had great successes but need to be more astute with our recruitment.

I think the problem is that our business model bakes in a pretty large percentage of misses to find a hit. Spending 1-4m on a player today is very different to what spending 1-4m was 20 years ago and yet our model hasn't changed. Almost inevitably we will end up with a squad bloated by guys who aren't good enough because the vast vast majority of players in that bracket are not good enough for where we want to get to.

I do have a degree of sympathy on the European front because it if we spend say 20-30m on new players we are still more likely than not going to struggle in the champions league.

What I don't understand and what to me is indefensible is our point blank refusal to spend to ensure success in Scotland. If celtic went and spent 15m on a Miovski a shankland and a decent left back we could almost tie up the league this season. Follow that pattern each season and we could almost lock in the title and give ourselves the best chance for the champions league. Instead we aim to be a little bit better than rangers as cheaply as possible which is a dangerous game to play and has almost no upside that I can see.

No. They are stopped by the road, hitchhiking because driving costs gasoline and money.

Sack the board, more interested in their bonuses and driveways than taking the team forward.

Just heard Brighton CEO/V Chairman Paul Barber, on Talksport..

Spoke a lot of sense and it's a club with a structure and strategy that's the envy of a lot of clubs..

Refreshing for Brighton fans to hear someone of that stature within their club coming on to a media platform and explaining the clubs strategy and transfer dealings.

Transparency, communication, organisation and forward planning... everything we lack as a club.

Got it too easy with our closest rivals being a shambles. That's a major part of the problem. They obviously see European football as a bonus as well, not to even try and compete.

Every club in Britain should be looking at Brighton's structure and trying to emulate it. Do everything right and have a clear and transparent strategy that they consistently work to.

We're run like a Tory government cabinet.

Unlikeable and unqualified career "politicians", elite capitalists and lickspittles put in prime positions of power, unfit and unwilling to make changes in policy to benefit the masses(Lawells Nicholsen, Bankier, Desmonds et al).

Promises at a election time, working class "public" told to trust them. (Agm "look at our bank balance).

Referencing geopolitical "enemies" of the state in fear mongering and / or comical levity (sevco, we cant expect to ein the title, we cant expect to get to the CL).

Policies pursued that benefit corporate shareholders and the 1%, at odds with both public statements and electorial promises. (Difficult windows, quality not quantity, any money from transfers goes to the playing squad).

Dissent and protests either dismissed as ignorance of the issues, or with fantastical accusations of racism, or with retrospective punishment based on minor infractions fir the good of public health (GB bans, bankier calling fans "criminally racist" over Lord Livingstone)

Next election cycle, new PM, new cabinet, same policies. (Boardroom musical chairs and appointments based on neoptism).

    Rinse and repeat.

We could spend 50m this transfer window, to shut up the noise for a bit... And in 2 years they'd start unnecessary downsizing, no matter how much was in the bank.

This club will NEVER be run like a football club whilst Desmond, his straw men and golf buddies are in policy making positions.
