Beyond us now regardless. It was a ‘maybe possible’ when the link first appeared, then Courtios got injured and he has put in some fantastic performances as the back up keeper.

Similar to the Kelleher link, was a longshot in the first place, Alisson got injured, he’s had some high profile great games. Both have had howlers since, but the initial run of games coming in and doing very well for teams at that level. Non starters.

 

What is our * luck like though really.

Potentially two great young Keepers, kinda in that mold of the ilk of Forster, where they are young but were never going to see the light of day because who the club their at and the keepers they already see.

Only for * two of the very best keepers getting injured at the same time near enough, and now both back ups have come and actually done * well enough for us to never being able to afford either.
