I think that's a great idea, some people live by their stats and not the quality of their posts:50: Sad but true.

Great, I've just put a couple of posters on Ignore, got rid of Sigs and allowed for 30 posts on every thread page. Happy days.

    I use it too

Its the people that want it removed are the people that are obsessed with it. Most people dont care about post counts. I only look at someone's post count and join date when I'm moderating to gauge how I should react when they breach the rules.

The rep system on some sites in pathetic. I'm a member of Gwlad - a Welsh rugby forum - and I said one bad thing about Wales and I was * slaughtered.

i have always wondered if it would be a good idea to have a moderator for each section

    for example

a regular in the computing section is a moderator for their etc. etc

Good point a lot of forums have this, but to be honest it really hasn't put this forum at a disadvantage by not having this.

if i could change the forum, i would allow people to change their name, and just charge the £5 for the gold member forum.

Read the rules, you can * swear if you like. If we wanted to stop it, we could without much hassle.
