Maeda and Abada/palma: on the wings and again, 1 drops out we have Kuhn, Yang,vata, Forrest.

Kyogo: adequate cover in oh and idah, Abada and maeda if needed.

more than enough to keep us at the top.

 

Don't worry lads, Saudi and Turkish windows still open. Could well sell some more players and not replace them yet

 

First time I’ve ever felt a real need to push this board out the club. I’ve always disliked them, I’ve never felt they were good for us, but it’s now time to go. They were let off for years due to success and some money being spent on fan favourites like Eddy, CCV and Jota.

I think we have enough to win the league. I still think we win it. But * me it’s going to be some effort from the players here, need to back every single one of them.

Any free agents going? Mulumbu must be kicking about.

This summer is now going to be monumental.

Already need a GK, LB, ST, CM, another winger, probably a RB. Definitely a CB.

And on top of that we’ll be losing MOR, and most likely someone else like Hatate or Kyogo.

 

Would he? Van Veen has had 1 decent season in his whole career, generally struggling in English League 1 and 2. He's on loan because he's not done well in the Dutch 2nd tier.

 

It's looking dreadful right now, even if we don't sell we need half a dozen players.

To be honest we should have been looking for a shake-up of that scale summer past. A new manager coming in to another man's squad, who are driller into certain ways of working, and trying to gently tweak things just doesn't work. Any new manager coming in needs at least 3 or 4 new first 11 players that suit what he wants to do to give current players a fresh impetus.

Think it's the main reason why Rodgers hasn't been able to implement a proper style.

 

We are also looking at a new majority shareholder this summer IMO. Rodgers has been planning to stay for only this season anyway, to help Desmond shore up the club before the sale.

 

I personally think it's deliberate. We weakened in the summer, we have now weakened even further..SydneyVH wanted to come here but the club didn't get back to him and then they went for Idah. Get rid of Turnbull when Hatate is injured. The biggest ever prize in Scottish football is up for grabs (£50m CL) and we're just sitting on £74m in the bank. That's not incompetence. Why would you weaken yourselves further when there's £50m up for grabs? From a 'business' point of view it just doesn't make sense. This is deliberate to get blue tarts on an even keel for 'the good of the game'. I'm not buying anymore merchandise until there's a clear out.

 

Club are banking on the club hitting form of the decade over the next 3 away games. If not, the next home game is going to be the most toxic in recent memory. If we drop any points or don't look like improving our performances I can't imagine what it will be like.

Sadly there is no chance Desmond is selling.

You can add another goalkeeper and at least one more centre midfielder if not two when Hatate goes as well as Matt O’Riley.

The passivity of Rodgers the whole season combined with the knowledge that Desmond's dream of us and them in EPL is impossible makes me think the piling up of cash indeed signals an intent to sell shares. Rodgers was thought of as a safe pair of hands to get the title with minimum spending.
