Daizen Maeda

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by Callum McGregor, Dec 31, 2021.

  1. Glad I don't waste my time with these supposed fan accounts, it's annoying even reading it second hand on here. The guy works his socks off for us every game, scores a belter in that game, and we get * like that speaking that kind of pish. Everyone's entitled to an opinion but * me, folk like that can just bolt.

  2. Seems like this board is bipolar. It's only a few days since Maeda wasn't good enough to start and he needed to be replaced.

  3. It’s almost like there’s a lot of different opinions from lots of different people and not just a single entity

  4. This site has been notorious for it over the years

But that’s what makes this site the number one tim website

  5. Brendan Rodgers has to share some of the credit for the outcome too. He pushed Maeda up alongside Kyogo Furuhashi – his preferred position

    4-4-2????

  6. Tbf Daizen is definitely a divisive player :giggle1: can't really remember a player like him at the club.

I've always rated him though, though admittedly he's had games thats drove me bananas lol

  7. A cult hero...like Samaras in many respects.

So important for us. Times he frustrates, but there's also times where he shouldn't be playing. Like teams that play so deep and wi 2 banks of 5. That's when he's quiet. Games like that don't suit his attributes.

But I rate him and will enjoy him whilst he's here.

  8. She is a total weapon, I switch ACSOM off when she’s on it.

The same numpty that suggested Scales was never really criticised properly because he came from Ireland.

A complete and utter halfwit of a lassie.

    James Forrest I’d say

  9. I feel we're more like an ant colony or a beehive. We're clearly not a single mind; but equally clearly, we're not a set of independent individuals.

It's not a perfect analogy. It breaks down in as much as it's the queen that counts with ants and bees but no * listens to me on TC. :46:

  10. Didier Agathe 2.0, best way to sum it up

  11. Certainly merits consideration. Afterall, with Jota sold and Abada unavailable for months, we have no players that are so crucial as to mandate playing a formation with true wingers.

  12. I think for the most part a variety of opinions is what makes this site entertaining (some ban-pots aside) Maeda is a bit of an enigma, I once described him as 'an athlete first and a footballer second'....I dont think i have changed, but that doesn't mean i dont luv what the wee man brings....his attitude, effort and commitment is just unquestionable, end-product can frustrate - but trying and getting it wrong is a million times better than not trying....

  13. As my Japanese girly used to say to me: It's better to try and fail than to never try at all....

Man I washed a lot of dishes at her place lol

    Joking aside, she was right!

  14. Which lassie was it? There's 2 that go on it I'm sure.

  15. Laura Bradburn.

Natasha Meikle is sound, she’ll go on and have a stellar journalism career as long as she’s not prejudiced for calling that shower ‘Huns’. The rotten * got her sacked from her lawyers practice for a tweet.

  16. Aye she's had a few awful takes when I've listened. I don't actually mind that channel generally.
