    With Palma in, we don't have the game time to offer Podence. Palma, Yang, Abada, Maeda should have a lot of minutes, while even Tilio and Forrest exist as options.

    Very easily keep them happy. Forrest is 31 and shouldn't come into consideration if we have the opportunity to sign such a talented player.

    I still haven't seen Rodgers use Maeda together with Kyogo. And Kyogo's the nailed-on striker. If we are willing to shell out cash for Podence, why didn't we stump it up early and avoid Palma (who, IMO, has a better personality than Podence), or better yet- why not spend that on a LB?

    We've had to wait till this stage perhaps for obvious reasons with Podence as he's a higher ceiling of player.

    Maeda hasn't been used centrally yet as we've had no * to use at LW really.

    Yang was available from game 1 of the SPFL season. Okay, he's started the last game, but I don't see that Rodgers is dead set on permanently moving Maeda to the center. I'm not even sure Yang will even start on the wing on Sunday, even though he should.

    I am probably setting myself up for disappointment but I think we will get a left back and someone else in the door before the window closes along with Bernardo, Philips and Palma.

    Maeda is brutal, his only attribute is he is fast. For that reason alone he will play on Sunday against their most attack minded player. If there’s a market open after Sunday I’d punt him.
