  2. Whit a * mess.

Failing to score 2 games in a row against Killie and the fermers.. wow.

Bringing the style of football that got Leicester relegated to Celtic isn't going to work. Watched Leicester a few times last season and they were a * shambles.

His style is boring, predictable and outdated. So far it's not looking like a smart move Bringing him back.

  3. I watched the game yesterday, i was disappointed of the result that, we could not break down St Johnston.

As for.. POCKETS..he spent 80% of the game with his hands in his pockets, i did not see any urgency from him.
I know next week is not the end and Be all of it,,, as we have a long season to go ,,, i hope we get a good result ,,,,,,Bcos sevco will be going all out to beat us after our result. No mater what their result against PSV,

  4. Agreed....He * off as well yet the love in still in sad as *.

He led us up the garden path and also ran out,not as bad as Rodgers....but he still ran off.

We have a manager here now that just doesnt have that woah factor atm.....I hope it changes quickly, but i doubt it.

  5. Not sure of the accuracy… but I understand that St J had 5 players playing their first game for the club… and 8 had never been to Celtic Park before…

    It’s just not acceptable.

Im starting to wonder if John Kennedy would have been better…he might at least have stuck with the Ange philosophy had he been given the job.

That thought in itself ….. says so much

  6. Well, it looks like I was probably wrong that it was worth the wait to get the right signings. I regret saying that.

I'm still right behind Rodgers, though. I don't think the blame can be laid at his door and even defeat at Ibrox won't change that.

We do need to get the signings he wants, though. We need to do that and if we do, it will come good. Rodgers hasn't suddenly become a mediocre manager over a mere 12 months.

  8. The way we played yesterday, i think some of our players had never been to Parkheed

  9. On the point in bold, the problem is this isn't some sudden transformation, the problems have existed in Rodgers' football for years. Turgid 0-0s were part and parcel of Rodgers' last two years here, we just weren't punished for it because there was zero competition. Issues in the transfer market have always been there. These are the reasons why people like myself were against him coming back.

He hasn't suddenly transformed into a mediocre manager, he's just always struggled against low blocks, had a poor record in the transfer market, and created quite nasty atmospheres at the clubs he's been at. My only surprise is it's all happened so quickly - one thing Rodgers has guaranteed in the past is a proper bounce when he takes over, but unfortunately his football was never going to provide that coming off the back of what we were served before.

  10. Played yesterday like we’re 3 years into the Rodgers tenure, worrying

  11. I disagree with this! He came to us on a one year rolling contract and gave us exciting football winning 5 trophies in the process. His aim was always to go to the prem league and you can't fault this.

Ange is a very ambitious man and he has his sights on the top jobs in Europe and is going to win some big trophies in the next decade. Nothing wrong with coming to us for a few seasons then moving on for bigger things.

I thought it was a great choice to bring him back.

Now I’m thinking it was wrong because look how quickly things have got toxic from fans to players.

These players weren’t involved when Rodgers patched us so they are in the crossfire here and you can tell its affecting them. It must be some change in atmosphere from last year to this.

If this was Potter, Maresca, anyone else, it wouldn’t be this bitter this quickly.

  12. That was the danger in bringing him back especially how he left. You can see the knives are out already from some sections of our support. I wouldn't say there are some that actually want him to fail but wouldn't be too upset if he did.

Wasn't too upset him coming back but this was my fear and the football when he left wasn't great. Would of preferred a new fresh manager and approach.

Doesn't help that the board and transfer department is letting him down big time

  13. This needs calm heads. Ridiculously early.

  14. Jon Dahl Tomasson To replace him Huns hate him done a decent job at Blackburn on a small budget.

  15. We’re already on to folk naming his replacements? Jesus christ. :56:

  16. Wouldn't be looking to replace him as it stands. Want him properly backed.

However, if he isn't backed and he doesn't turn the performances (and in turn results) around, he's gonna struggle to stay in the job for sure.

  17. Come on mate. Be real.

  18. If he loses next week and we don't sign what's required the replacement chat might not be a million miles away and not because he will have been sacked

  19. If he were to walk, he should at least do us all a favour. None of this confidentiality clause pish. Come out and tell the truth, tell us what we've always known and maybe just maybe it will finally get the fans to take action against Desmond and his board of *
