Ok so it seems that the prodigal son :)56:)/saviour of Celtic :)56:) is back, so the average squad player (8 years at Celtic inc. youth and one good season, yes that makes him average) is back at Celtic Park, much to the hooray's of the fans...

Now it seems obvious to me that it's going to be Nakamura's position thats under threat, which is a good thing although he is class he has got a habit of dissapearing and drifting in and out of games, although does turn it on for the big games.

So with Judas now back in the fold - who does have a habit of scoring some memorable goals/free kicks, not to mention my all time favourite Celtic moment when he K.O'd bawwy fergushun with a free kick, for that alone I forgive most of his sins :84:

So just a poll to judge the thoughts of the masses, who would you start for the upcoming Old Firm game - Naka or Maloney?

Me personally it would be Naka with Maloney coming on as an Impact sub early in the 2nd half :shamrock:

    Judas? has Mo Johnston re-signed?

Both will play a huge part and no doubt will play in the same team.

    Judas is very harsh m8.
Neither are match sharp but i would start with Naka.

I would like to see Maloney on the left and Aiden on the right eventually. That would be a big threat goin forward imo.

I think it will be McGeady looking over his shoulder tbh as that's where Maloney plays best on the left of midfield. Now that McDonald's injured he might get a run up front although I'd rather we signed another front man.

    naka wirh maloney as sub.

how did you come to the conclusion of judas? he is hardly judas compared to mo.

maybe after a while cos we have so much midfields we could go for a 4-5-1 i know its negative but it all depends how you play it. but samaras up front with mcgeady on the left, naka on the right, maloney sitting behind samaras, and brown and robson in the centre

    Maloney with naka sub!

I only picked that one cos he's better as a winger than a striker so hopefully he scores a few but cant see it being the 15 - 20, who was our last winger to get that much?

Sorry, perhaps I should explain this further. I'm on the side of the fence with the fans that are a)Still bitter over the manner of his departure b) Annoyed at the fact that he's now back at the club, I have been since day one and am very staunch on this.

I have never been happy with us being linked with him since his departure and i'm annoyed at his return as I can't see how he will improve our current team, imo he will be a squad player, albeit a squad player with a lot of ground to make up.

As always though time will tell on whether this is one of Strachans good/bad signings.

I don't see Maloney as a Judas. He was a young lad with a big idea of fame and fortune in the EPL. I'm glad he's back. I always thought he was talented. I think he should have stayed at Celtic at least another season and he would have been a better player for it.
Anyway, he's here now nad I hope everyone will give him support.
We've had enough * directed at Celtic players by our own fans, we don't need anymore.

I was meaning if he was brought back as a winger, just a winger hence the naka vs maloney debate. He wasnt just playing as a winger then :bbpd:

Can't Vote , as i would think both should start in a formation like this

    -------Broon-------Hartley
    Naka-----------------Aiden

    ----------Maloney--------

    ----------jvoh-----------

With Skippy coming on if its not goin well.
