    If it’s definitely end of month it must be Knutsen or Iraola, who are head & shoulders above everyone else.

    Bodo will want time to sort a replacement and we will wait for end of Iraola’s contract. Though surely we could sort compo for early termination of the contract? Even if its only a few weeks.

    Alot of it was us developing their players. Just like Denayer. Giving him exposure so they could move him on. Frimpong they'd never played him, they got 1m up front and we had to then move him on. We were helping them.
    Ntcham, we could have made money but he wasn't good enough really and we overpaid.

    Some people are going to be going tonto either way, appoint someone this week and it'll be the board panicking to get anyone in not doing due dillegence, takes a couple of weeks and they're * about not making a decision quick enough we have to get our transfers sorted. We were after Howe for ages, a great candiddate for the job, then when that fell through we got Ange in pretty rapid, who obviously was a huge success, so I'm actually not pulling my hair out here, our managerial appointments over the last couple of decades have been more hits than misses.
