Read between the lines and put the pieces together if you are Enzo maresca what would you do no everyone is like ange who’s already in a job and willing to wait out to see if he falls from 3rd choice into 1st choice which is what happened for him to get job at Celtic and get the job at spurs infact ange was on list to be Athens manager before he was Celtic

Champions league money, season ticket money, merch, player sales?

Where the * is the money celtic and why arent you spending it on a experienced candidate? Maresca can't be the best man for the job.

Yeah there's some that have managed it and some that haven't.

I just don't like to be one of these teams who take gambles when they're not needed.

 

It's absolutely infuriating. Win the league for the next few years, get champions league money and we could properly pull away from the scum for a very long time.

But here we are potentially taking risks with a guy that failed at Parma. The incompetence almost seems deliberate to keep the league a two horse race.

 

The sun is * toilet paper, but I read their article about Knutsen being asked about Celtic, and he apparently gave a really diplomatic response about being focused on Bodo Glimt etc.

I totally agree. I want to maintain the level we've had recently.
Most managers would be a risk. No matter what age but maresca seems job for the city boys. Since essentially we have been their feeder club. If its true pep has had a say that's a shambles. If he gives that much of a * he can come up here and give himself a reap challenge

He is defo most supporters no.1 choice and seems like enough of a personality to handle it.

I just don't understand the board and if they pick Enzo. As someone has already stated there is at least 10 better candidates that have already applied. Surely the likes of Iraola, Potter, Knutsen etc are within our reach.

Why is everyone assuming it's Maresca? Has something happened?

 

I hope if the Celtic board are ballsy enough to appoint Enzo, then they back him in the transfer market and bring in quality otherwise, he will be out before Xmas. I hope they give him a fighting chance.
