I said after the DUTD game WGS needed to roast some players in the dressing room. I reckon, by this result, that he did! Well done, we've compiled a winning team without Vennie and McDonald...:50:

Falkirk offered a lot first half but we were far too strong for them second. Hinkel unconvincing, everyone else had blinder, Samaras trys too much fancey * though for me.

Surely you start with shawn next week, he offers more than any other striker and his link up play with mcgeady and sammy was brilliant, naka was great as per and crosas looks a gem that pass to naka was incredible.

    Hail hail

Brilliant performance. Crosas pin point accuracy with his wide passes were perfectly met by Naka, even allowing him to showboat. Maloney was immense as you'd expect, welcome home Sean. Loovens was decent enough, and seems to be rubbing off on Hinkel. Even big Mick was bursting with confidence.

But I'm not getting too excited, I'll judge the new players on how they play against Rangers, Falkirk are * pish.

Yep, forgot to admit - Wilson was pretty decent. Criticized him for bad performance last week, today was a huge improvement.

    Crosas also looked confident there.

Can someone explain me what Nakamura did to Aafjes, because the link went dead, so I couldn't see the moment. Crosas gave him a good pass, and then...? Video links would also help.

Nutmegged him and took him right, then left, then right again and swept in a cross.

100% better from last weekend. better passing and we looked much more like a team of champions!

Very impressed with the way Naka stepped up after poor performance last week, and well, what can i say about Wee Shaun?!? he was brilliant!

We could be playing better, defence at time looked shakey but we have new faces in the team and i can only expect it to take a few games to gel.

Oh can i ask, anyone think that Shaun put Aidey in the shadows this afternoon?

Got to say watching celtic for me has been a chore for a quite a while but that seems to be over now maloneys here!
His link up play with mcgeady, nakamura, samaras is a joy to watch and means other teams back 4 are really stretched and we can really hurt them.
Loovens was untroubled so was hard to judge him, Crosas however looked like a really acomplished seasonal international pro, smashing player by the looks of it and donati's got no chance of getting back in the team.

Also i would take that 5.5 mil for brown now Mr Keegan thank you very much ;-)

Good Lord... I hope that will be somewhere to see... Rangers are dead if we play this XI. Deader than a ran-over cat.

Aiden for me raised his game 100% when Sean came on, both were excellent.

Well played Celtic. That's what i like to see.
I'm so happy to see Maloney back, he's really the type of player we badly needed and he makes Sammy tick :)

Loovens looked comfortable and Crosas was very pleasing when he came on. Some of his passes were excellent.

Special mention to Naka for that bit of trickery that totally skinned the played haha :D

He did some fancy work to nutmeg him and get around on the goal side, when the defender recovered he took him around the left and sent in a great cross from the edge of the box.

I thought he got a very welcome greeting -- but I've been known to occasionally mistake jeering for cheering over internet audio... still, I'd say if there were any boos, they were drowned out.

At some point Aiden started to play really individual (more than usually:86:) it came to my mind that he felt a litlle bit jealous. :icon_mrgreen:
