Just what we needed at that time.
Would love to see him start a game, maybe a home game, so difficult to come on and get up to the pace of the game but he did fine.

 

Stopped them hitting us on the counter a couple of times, makes himself available for a pass, closes down quickly, tracks his runners, bullied Scott Wright, frustrated Kent into getting a booking, nicked the ball off Raskin a couple of times, set up a counter and laid one on a plate for O'Riley.

Not a bad wee 15 minute cameo.

 

Ballsy move to bring him on...but really needed that defensive player at that time. Stepped up to the mark and got tore in. Think we will be seeing more of him near the business end of the season

 

I know game was done and dusted but that was too easy for him. Kept things ticking along very neatly and stopped a rare St Mirren attack in its tracks.

 

Desperate to see more of him, however it’s such a competitive position he’s playing in I can understand why his game time is still quite limited.

I’d imagine next season is when we’ll really see him start to shine.

 

I'd start him at Tynecastle alongside McGregor and Hatate.

 

Would like to see him start tomorrow.

 

He's the closest I've seen so far in terms of matching calmacs tempo in that role. Allows us to mix it up a bit in midfield

 

The long term replacement for Calmac. As ever, Ange is way ahead of the curve.

 

I wouldn't mind that at all. I can see it happening a few times this season yet..

 

I think Calmac will retire with us. Iwata will, however, allow Calmac to rest a bit more often.

 

Would definitely like to see him starting tomorrow.

Looks a brilliant addition.

Such a crisp passer of the ball. Fires it right in to feet.

 

He's quality. Don't want to see a combination of Mooy and O'Riley again when this guy is around.

That midfield 3 that finished the game was brilliant and one I want to see on a regular basis.

 

Such a tidy player, he'll be first choice next season 100%

 

Always looking to receive the ball and shift it quickly then goes looking for space to receive it again...him McGregor and hatate are definitely the future midfield in my opinion.

 

Him, McGregor and Hatate looked excellent in the middle together.

I do think Mooy will keep his place on Saturday though.

 

He can play a bit eh?
