I must be the only one Who enjoyed ep7 ep8 was incredible

Have really enjoyed every episode so far. Think it’s been excellent. Can’t wait for the finale.

 

I enjoyed that last episode but did think it was a bit strange the rest of "the flock" didn't appear to challenge Joel (games obv need that for gamey battles etc) or to see what the commotion was. Flying through the games story and only going by quicker by cutting Joel's battle to Ellie.

 

Anyone else know/notice that the guy who played James was the guy who plays Joel in the games? Troy Baker is his name, he’s been a bunch of games

 

Yes spotted that. I remember being so disappointed in his appearance when watching the mo cap behind the scene stuff. Didn't seem manly enough for his voice.

 

Didn't notice that at all, lol.

Really enjoyed it.

Just hoping they don't drag this out to *.

 

Was ep 8 the last one or is there one more to come ?

Last one has to be a longer ep.

 

It's been a good show but I'm not gonna lie... so far it's been a bit of a let down.

 

It's literally the shortest apparently lol

 

Really disappointed to find out episode 9 will only be 43 mins long....I honestly expected this episode to be at least 90 mins with so much still to happen.

The show is fantastic but i really think they * it up with not adding at least another 3 episodes in total to tell the proper story here.

 

It's been a long time since I played it but they've not really missed anything major out have they? It's pretty much a straight sprint to the end now, unless you're wanting a lot more action to pad things out I'm not sure what you'd fill 3 more episodes with as far as story goes.

 

Is this the last episode?

Does seem a but much if they're going to fit in the the ending of game 1 into 1 episode, just like that.

Also seeing people saying that 2nd season will be a five year gap, is that like the games, can't mind? Seem to suggest that Bella girl won't be recast.

 

Ellie is visibly older & taller in the sequel, didnt know any recasting talk was going on, that'd be silly.

 

If there was a big gap of 5 years they'd need to, the actor is 19, she ain't gonna take much of a stretch if not.

It's just entertainment sites I've read from.

Other suggestion is 2nd season if there is the same angle as the game is the daughter from the church, but then need to see how the 1st ends as that's were the main story came from for the 2nd game.

 

She's 19. It'd be alot easier to dress her etc to look older. Infact they've probably done something to make her look like a child so won't be an issue imo. Many think she's actually about 14/15. The comments all say what a great actor that we girl is...

 

I know some broad facts about what S2 might look like from motormouth TLOU game fanboys. Personally I found the game really repetitive the 4 or so hours I played the first one. I don’t know how the season ends but I’ve heard enough rumours as it’s hard not to when 10s of millions know the story.

If anyone can do Ellie justice going forward it’s Bella Ramsey. She is Ellie, simple as.
