rfc outspending us. why?

Considering we are supposed to have more financial muscle than rfc, why do they seem to be spending alot more money in the transfer market than we are. Whats going on, personally i think its a disgrace, we should be kicking them when there down.

Just because they are spending more money doesn't mean they are buying quality.

 

Because we're not at the stage of panic buying. Rangers haven't won the league in 3 years, so they're more under pressure to turn their fortunes around by revamping the squad.

 

It's called PANIC ! lol

 

alot of tims are starting to panic going by some of the threads on this and other tic forums even thou there are 2 weeks of the window left.

If Mendes , Bresciano and Davis are panic buys then count me in

Think about it this way. If they don't win the league this year they're * both psychologically and financially. That Edu chap is going to be a pile of pants, when was the last time you saw a Yank who was any good at football?

 

Can't see Bresciano joining - he has the choice of EPL clubs without Europe or the huns without Europe - hmmm who would you choose? Also think he'll end up being too dear.

they sold theyre best player ! to get the funds we could do the same sell boruc and buy 15 average players too

 

Rangers have spent almost double what we have and time is running out, we lost tamas haggling over a few grand a week which is peanuts in footballing terms (alot to me and you i know). We are in a good position financally overall so surely we can spend that extra few quid for that extra bit of quality.

 

Because they are fightin to save their skin and necks, they are desperate, do you think they looked at some of these players before mighty Kaunas, i dont think so, they are desperate and its a big gamble, if they fail, they will be a broken team, they MUST win league, and the pressure on them will be immense, if we can stay close in race they will be * it, they are a wounded animal (Hippo) on its last legs!!!


and spending loads of money isnt allways the answer, have faith in our management, they havent let us down in three years, so give them some slack!

 

I'd still take our team over their's any day of the week. Again, we've played together for a while - they'll still need to gel and under immense pressure - as stated before - A MUST to win the league.
