Best of luck to him, only thing he done wrong was getting injured with the last gast clearance. Good to free up some wages though.

I think he was loving his football here until the injury. How different things could of been if it didn't happen. Won't ever forgot lazio.

1m fee and 1m saved in wages is good business.

Wasn't he rumoured to be one of the players Lennon was talking about after the Ferencvaros debacle?

THE 29-YEAR-OLD DEFENDER SIGNED UP TODAY WITH THE MONTPELLIER CLUB. HE WILL WEAR NUMBER 6

The transfer of Christopher Jullien from Celtic FC took place this afternoon at Domaine de Grammont. Born in Lagny-sur-Marne before being trained at AJ Auxerre, this player with impressive physical potential (1m96 / 91 kg) quickly made a name for himself in Auxerre training. Called up to the French youth teams, he was even crowned Under-20 World Champion in Turkey in 2013 with the generation of Pogba, Kondogbia, Zouma and Digne. Transferred to Friborg in the process, he spent 2 years with the German club before being loaned to Dijon during the 2015-2016 financial year. Author of a full season in Burgundy (37 games / 9 goals), he was then an essential part of the accession of the men of a certain Olivier Dall'Oglio in the elite of French football. Then transferred to Toulouse, he spent 3 full seasons there (108 games / 8 goals), even becoming the captain of the TFC. His performance and consistency then caught the eye of Celtic FC where he has just spent the last 3 seasons.

For all these reasons, Christopher Jullien is a recruit of choice for the Pailladin staff. “I am happy with the arrival of Christopher at the MHSC , explained the President of Montpellier, Laurent Nicollin. We wanted to have an additional defender; we discussed it with the coach 10 days ago and it came to fruition. I am happy and delighted. I hope he will very quickly bring a lot to the group and on the pitch. For his part, the new n°6 from Montpellier was very happy to start this new adventure in orange and blue . “I am very happy to join the MHSC. I immediately felt a warm spirit, everyone welcomed me. Now I can't wait to get startedhe explained when signing . I have ants in my legs. I left Ligue 1 quite a while ago now and I'm happy to be back in this championship. A new page is opening here in Montpellier and I am very happy about it. I can't wait to meet the Montpellier supporters at the Stade de la Mosson and I hope that we will have some great adventures together. “ Welcome to you Christopher!

Played his part. Shame how it ended up for him, but, he did seem a bit sulky in his few cameos in pre season and we can’t have that sort of attitude around.

Wish him all the best back in France.

I celebrated that winner against the huns like a lunatic.. thanks for that big man.

There is barely any deadwood left, if the rumours of MJ, McCarthy and Ajeti leaving are true id say we have practically none...

    Delighted for all involved.

Right, get Ajeti out and bring in a few more and we're winning the world cup.

Really liked him as a player… hoped he’d get back to where he was… just unlucky timing on top of the injury…

I hope there’s no Ill-feeling and that he succeeds at his new club.
