  2. I think the criticism of his pre season form is very harsh.

    Playing next to different team mates every week, when last season he largely played in a settled defence.

    With Starfeldt injured and a new left back brought in, they need to settle and familiarise.
    Especially if Bernabei is going to push higher up the pitch more than Taylor, it will inevitably mean he is dragged out of position more often.

  3. He's set really high standards for himself, always shown great consistency, he's had a few sloppy moments during pre season, very unlike him, but he'll be back to his solid self once the new season kicks off, no worries, he's only human lol.

  4. It's pre season.

    If there's a time to make any mistakes it's now. He had a pretty much flawless competitive season last year.

  11. The guy is a beast.

    We always seem to find one of these decent center backs now and again. If we found another CCV, we'd be challenging for the Europa League most seasons. He's just so good.
