    This worries me greatly. This thought process also starts from the assumption that we are going to dominate possession and constantly create chances in Europe.

    In theory that sounds nice but it's ridiculous how timid we look whenever the opposition beat our press. A few passes from the likes of Bodo Glimt and they were running past McGregor like he wasn't there and immediately into our box. That's why we needed Souza or someone similar, a big strong * who can read the game and make vital tackles/blocks/interceptions but also pick a pass.

    Even the other day, * Blackburn and Rapid were bypassing the middle and cutting us open. I'm honestly terrified at what Real, City, Liverpool, PSG etc will do to us if we set up to dominate and have Mooy, McGregor, and Hatate/O'Riley/Turnbull as our midfield henchmen.

    Just read this gem on KDS:

    Aaron Mooy played his part in the death of the old Rangers.

    Scored his first senior league goal against them a few days before Ledley scored the header in 2011. Ledley’s goal put us top, if Mooy never scored that wouldn’t have happened.

    Short career in Scotland previously but has strong hunskelping vibes.

    Lol that wasn't my point. I never said the Scottish league wasn't *. We shouldn't be shopping in the Belgian league... I gave my reasons why. Celtic and rangers are miles ahead of any Belgian team. Bring up st mirren if you wish but hearts could probably beat half their league if we're being serious. I don't give a * about the rest of the Scottish league.

    Fingers crossed this happens so this aussie can enjoy being a celtic fan for another year

    wonder if he will be played as a 10 or a deep 6? I'm guessing since you have a mobile 10 that is a perfect complement for him to be a second 10, I always thought he was a better 10 than a 6 but in england played for teams that wanted speed in the 10 position
