    Just cant get enough
    I’ll simplify this for you.
In the UK, we’re paying double what you pay in the US for petrol :50:

Certainly if there had been any doubt in my mind about whether my next car would be electric or not that has been firmly erased now.

They're just rip off *, getting outed as why it's going up and their price is going down.

In cahoots with the government, no coincidence that fuel for cars will be out the window in coming years and now leccy is going through the roof, trying to bleed everyone from both sides till then.

Yep this is just their big push. Make a pretend crisis and blame the rising costs on other countries so people are forced to buy electric cars even though they are less than affordable to the average person.

195 euro to fill my van earlier :31:. Bastarding thing keeps climbing week by week. Surely it has to level of soon enough. Doesn't bare thinking if it goes to 300 or even 400. If it gets anywhere near these latter prices, this is when we'll see the * hit the fan everywhere.

The scary thing is, how often do you see fuel prices fall.

Not very often, and when they do, it's not by much. Worried that this is the new normal.

Not just fuel either. Food has literally doubled in price lately. Some * sinister is going on.

We were always going to pay for lockdown.

My bog roll has went from a quid, to £1.25 to £1.50 and now to £1.75 in a matter of 6 weeks.

That’s just my * paper before I get to the rest. What is going on?

I’ve never known inflation like it. It’s terrifying. Feel like I’m living to work these days rather than working to live.

Aye. They're all clearly ripping the pish now. Funnily enough, it was big roll I noticed most in my weekly shop as well. Looks like every company has seen this as a chance to bump up the profit margin.

No even dodging tax. They can get a cut of every single transaction if its cashless. Spend 65p on a tin of coke down the shop? The shop now pays a few pence to the bank as a transaction fee. Imagine that country wide now. Billions.

Funny, Asda have been at it, used to do cans of soup for 95p, 4 for £3, now they're £1.40 each, did notice tesco still doing 4 for 3.

Even the 4 bars of chocolate (that get smaller all the time) were £1, now £1.25.

The we corner shops still sell the soup price marked 1.09 or 3 for 3. I do think some places are taking advantage.
