Thought we would win today and clinch league , but a draw isn’t a disaster, we will win it next week , it’s just delayed. People deflated here but don’t worry it’s coming back to paradise

aw geez peace man we are playing a good side today, beat them twice and drew once last 2 months, as much as people slag them about being Jammy they are in the Europa league semi final because they are a good team player, off course we wanted to win but result today is another massive step for us HH

 

Been a long hard season trying to implement Anges playing style and the high intensity of his system. We have the Japanese lads coming in after a full season under their belts and have had some injury issues for most of the seasonleading to an increased workload for some players. No surprise we are looking jaded at times. However I think we shouldn't be pressing as much as we do first half, seems like we inviting pressure 2nd half of games by putting too much into first 45 and having the inevitable in in energy in the 2nd half. Think this is something that needs to change along with playing out from the back when getting pressed, need to know when to slow the tempo down and not constantly keeping the fast tempo. Play smart.

Hopefully a good rest close season and a good pre season will yield better performances next year.

 

Not expecting to outplay them every time. But they've been the dominant team the last two games - one being at Celtic Park and the other at Hampden after we'd had a weeks rest and the huns were off the back of a big 120 minute European tie. I think it's reasonable to expect better from us in both those games.

Of course we've made huge strides this season. No denying that. I never expected to win the league for a second. But I'm concerned with our performances against them. They bully us far too easily.

This is assuming we sign Jota and CCV as well…

 

So win next week , we are 6 clear with 2 to play? Basically win next week and it's over barring us shipping loads of goals and losing twice ?

 

We're so predictable when we get a goal kick... sometimes you just can't play out from the back.
They had a set up that made it very difficult to do that because we have no other way.

 

Kinda positive side also is that the last couple of games we deserve to win on overall chances and this is the last we will see of this old aging hun team now.

They need a Keeper especially next season,and as much as he is an utter * he has been a great keeper they will miss,along with many others.

Can only see us being more dominant as the years go along now....expecailly if Sevco dont make CL with them money in the future.

 

Thought we were pish again v them, managed to avoid defeat again tho thanks to the centre backs. That’s 3 games in a row Gio has had Ange’s numbers imo, expecting much better v them next season

 

Lots count how many times he lost position especially first half, far too slow in decision making and was getting pushed off the ball like a wee boy losing possession..

 

McGregor is probably the biggest reason they’ve dropped as many points as they have.

They get even a half decent modern keeper and they’ll have improved tenfold in that position.

Even in the semi final the amount of cross and corners McLaughlin collected was massive for them.

He's not a great player at all but Lundstram has bullied our midfield these last couple of games. Big, powerful guy who can cover ground.

Stats say it was close. I agree that I don't think we were up top much but they weren't amazing themselves.
