Class season by The Wizard of Oz.

Probably not in our top 2 performers this season but that’s because we have had some unreal seasons by loads of players. Could easily have been all 4 Celtic players in that list.

Find it mental he’s being nominated in all honesty.

I’d probably have about 5/6 of our players ahead of him.

I agree ridiculous that CCV is not on the shortlist. Well deserved nods though for McGregor and Rogic who have been outstanding.

Rogic finally getting the credit he deserves with that nomination.

He's been massive for us this season.

Im sure players like CCV and Mcgregor toil hard but Rogic is a class above and has unique flair and skills that make Celtic play like a Barcelona team at times. He's definitely deserved his nomination is probably in the top 2-3 if not the top player in the Scotland. He's no spring chicken and should probably have a crack at the EPL or Bundesliga while he's at the top of his game, but he seems content at Celtic.

Been here 9 years supposedly!!! Hard to believe, although I do remember watching him play in the development squad at the same time as Derk Boerrigter so that's a while back.

He was sent out on loan to Australia a couple of times early on in his Celtic career. Ronny gave him a chance :52:

Clearly he's had some problem years... but for me, Rogic has been (overall) the best technical player in Scotland for the last nine years.

I know he constantly fails in Europe, but under Ange he'll come good.

This time next year he'll be regarded as one of the premier players in Europe.

TOM ROGIC admits it has been nice for Celtic to prove their doubters wrong, with Ange Postecoglou’s fledgling side being written off by many after a slow start to the season.

Celtic lost three of their first six matches in the Premiership, but they now haven’t lost a league match since the last of those defeats at Livingston back in September.

It is a run that has Postecoglou’s team on the brink of the title, holding a six point lead over Rangers with just four matches to play, and Rogic says that it will give the Celtic players extra satisfaction should they go on to win the league after their hopes were so readily dismissed in the early part of the campaign.

It’s funny sometimes when people write you off early,” Rogic said. “I don’t think it is extra motivation, but it is nice sometimes to prove people wrong.

“It wasn’t really our focus. Our focus was still the same throughout all the matches regardless of the result. We knew if we played to our ability and the level of effort was there, the results would come with it.

“If you look at the start of the season and the amount of players who came in and played virtually after they signed with one or two training sessions before a match, it took a bit of time to get everyone together. But once it did, we gelled it together pretty good.

“It’s been a long and difficult season, but one that has been really enjoyable so far. We’ve enjoyed some success, but we still have four games left and want to finish as strongly as possible. I’ve enjoyed it a lot.

As season is always difficult, always quite gruelling, and you always have to earn it. Particularly at the start of the season we were written-off quite early.

“To perform the way we have and play the football we have is the most pleasing and, of the back of the hard work, results have come. It’s been good.”

My mate worked for celtic tv a few years ago, said Tom always avoided the media stuff and is quite shy. Also said Griffiths was a * mind you.
